NEET SS: MCC To Conduct Limited Edition Round For 2 Vacant Seats Of DNB Nephrology at Jaslok Hospital Research Centre, details

Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced conducting a limited edition round for filling up 2 vacant seats of DNB Nephrology (NEET SS 2022) in Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre.

The detailed schedule –

1. Choice filling for the limited event - 02:00 PM of 29.05.2023 up to 11:00 AM of 30.05.2023

2. Choice locking starts from - 02:00 PM of 29.05.2023 up to 11:00 AM of 30.05.2023

3. Seat processing of limited event - 30.05.2023

4. Declaration of the final result - 30.05.2023

5. Reporting for the limited event at Jaslok Hospital - 31.05.2023 up to 05:00 PM of 02.06.2023

Eligibility criteria –

1. Candidates who have already registered for NEET (SS)-2022 counseling are not holding any seats as there will be no new registration.

2. Candidates who have secured the 20th percentile or above in NEET (SS)-2022 Examination.

3. Candidates not allotted any college in any NEET (SS)-2022 counseling rounds.

4. The eligible candidates apply for Nephrology Course as per NMC Norms.

Non-eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates who have joined a seat through counseling.

2. The candidates who have resigned from their allotted seats either in offline/ online mode.

3. The candidates who have not qualified for the desired percentile cutoff.

In pursuance of the directions passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in “WP No. 264 of 2023 in Jaslok Hospital and Research Center vs. Union of India & Ors.” the competent authorities of MoHFW have decided to conduct a limited event of filling up of the 2 seats of DNB Nephrology.

The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges.
