NEET UG 2024 Candidates to Claim Pending Refunds Now: MCC notification
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has issued a notice regarding the pending refund of security deposits for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling for the academic year 2024 candidates.
Therefore, the notice calls upon affected candidates to submit the required documents to initiate the refund process.
According to the notice, MCC has released a list of candidates whose security deposit refunds are still pending. Hence, these candidates are required to submit a duly notarised affidavit on court-stamped paper to proceed with the refund.
Candidates must send the completed affidavit via email, with a copy marked to Finance MCC. However, candidates should ensure that all details are correctly filled out to avoid further delays in processing the refund. However, incomplete or incorrectly submitted documents may delay the refund process.
In addition, candidates must also provide a self-declaration confirming the authenticity of the information, failing which they may lose the claim over the refund amount. Hence, all concerned candidates must complete the submission process at the earliest to ensure the timely processing of their refunds.
Meanwhile, the notice includes a list of candidates whose refunds are pending, featuring names and NEET roll numbers. Candidates are advised to check the list carefully and take prompt action if their name appears. As per the list, a total of 14 student refunds are still pending.
Below is the list of documents in order to substantiate the claim-
1 Copy of Adhaar Card.
2 Admit card bearing roll number (UG/PG/SS).
3 Details of the bank account from which the amount was remitted.
4 Details of the bank account to which the amount is to be refunded.
5 Attach a scanned copy of the passbook or cancelled cheque of an account to which the amount of refund is to be made.
As per the format, candidates must include-
1 Personal details including name, NEET roll number, and application number.
2 Confirmation of participation in NEET UG counselling 2024.
3 Declaration of payment of security deposit and non-receipt of refund.
4 Request for refund with updated bank details.
5 Submission of supporting documents such as Aadhaar card, admit card, and bank details.
