NEET UG Admissions 2022: BOPEE Releases Provisional Selection List Of Candidates Upgraded/Allotted Seats

Srinagar: Through a recent notice, the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released the Provisional Selection List of candidates upgraded / allotted seats during Second round of physical counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses -2022.

In pursuance of Notification No.089-BOPEE of 2022 dated 22-011-2022, the second round of counselling (physical) for upgradation/allotment of seats was held on 24-11-2022 & 25-11-2022, the list of candidates who have been upgraded/allotted seats provisionally for undergoing MBBS/BDS Courses 2022 in various Government / Private Medical / Dental Colleges of UT of J&K, is hereby notified as per Annexure "A" to this notification which shall be available on website of the Board: www.jkbopee.gov.in only. The candidates shall report to the colleges allotted to them w.e.f. 26-11-2022 to 29-11-2022 (upto 04:00 P.M.) along with necessary documents including the following for admission: -

1. Date of Birth Certificate

2. Marks Card of 10+2.

3. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K and for the candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as domicile certificate.

Provisional Selection List of candidates

1. Category certificate, if any

2. Valid Income Certificate of P&B category candidates

3. HM Certificate/ document, whenever applicable.

4. Any other certificate demanded by the College Authorities

The concerned Colleges shall keep their admission counters open even on holidays/ off days and designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates in the process of admission.

However, the candidates should, in their own interest, avoid waiting for the last day to complete the admission formalities as such delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only.

The Colleges shall submit the shortfall, if any, by 29th of November, 2022 upto 05.00 P.M. positively to enable the Board to take further necessary action in the matter.

Note: -

1. As per the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of UT of J&K & Ladakh vide order dated:15.11.2022 in WPC No.776/2022, one seat of MBBS (Female) in CDP Category has been kept reserved.

2. The admission of the candidates is purely provisional and shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/ fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates.

3. It is hereby implored upon the management of all Colleges / Institutions to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the category certificates, wherever the admission is to be granted in lieu of particular reserved category. So, far as the persons with disability are concerned, if selected in Open merit or reserved category, it shall be ensured that his/her PwD Certificate/eligibility is in conformity with NMC/DCI guidelines, regulations framed by the regulatory authority & wherever required shall refer the matter to Medical Board to assess such candidates and make recommendations based on which institution shall take further necessary action. In case any candidate does not fulfill the benchmarks of eligibility as per NMC/DCI guidelines, he/she shall not be admitted to the course/institute.

4. The Heads of the Institutions/ Colleges are requested to release the documents and fee to the candidates who have been upgraded during this round of counselling without wasting their time to enable them to report to the upgraded colleges by or before 28-11-2022.

5. The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in e-information Brochure/ Notifications/ Notices issued from time to time on the subject.
