NEET UG Counselling 2021: MP DME informs On Last Date For Resignation Of Round 1 Seats

Madhya Pradesh:Director of Medical Education (DME) has announced that candidates can resign from the entry seat of NEET UG counselling round 1 till 27th February 2022 till 5:00 pm.

Candidates should make themselves available in person on 26th February 2022 at the admitted college to complete the online resignation process in the time frame. DME has specified that the resignation date will not be extended, so candidates who want to resign will have to follow the schedule.

Candidates are advised to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will not be considered. In such a case, the candidate will be deemed to occupy the seat still, and rules of Round-2 will apply. Any letter other than a resignation letter generated through an online portal will not be considered. In case candidates are resigning by sending emails to the college, they should make sure that they receive a resignation letter generated through the online portal of MCC, stating the notification released on the official website of the MCC.

There is no option of resignation if candidate is not upgraded in Round-2.

All India Counselling round 2 allotment date has been fixed at 27th February 2022 for NEET UG.

Based on scores obtained in NEET, successful registration and fulfillment of other factors for eligible candidates are invited to participate in NEET UG counselling. There are 4 rounds of counselling process for NEET UG. Candidates whose names are included in the state merit list will be called for participation in the counselling process.
After the registration, the authority commences the choice filling and locking for counselling. Candidates need to fill choices based on priority; however, they can also upgrade their allotted seats. Admissions are granted based on state merit rank, preferences filled, reservation criteria, availability of seats, etc.
