New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed that no further round of online seat allotment will be conducted for the INI-SS January 2024 session.

As per the notice, candidates participating in AIIMS and other Institute of National Importance may conduct stray vacancy rounds for vacant seats (if any).

Further, it is requested that all eligible candidates should visit the website of the respective INI for all the information related to the Stray Vacancy round of seat allotment for the INI-SS January 2024 session (if any).

The open round of seat allotment for the INI-SS January 2024 session was held in February from the 01st to the 06th. On 09 February 2024, the seat allotment result for admission to DM, MCh and MD Hospital (Administration) courses of INI-SS for the January 2024 session was declared.

According to the result, there were a total of 38 seats, out of which 30 seats have been allotted in DM, 5 seats in MCH and 3 seats in MD (Hospital Administration). The result has been prepared as per the candidate's choices filled during the open round of institute allotment and the merit obtained in AML and CML.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS), is a globally acclaimed public medical research university and hospital based in New Delhi, India. The AIIMS Act, 1956 govern the institute and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Objectives of AIIMS

1. To develop a pattern of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

2. To bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of the personnel in all important branches of the health activity.
