Tamil Nadu: Through a written notice Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released a tentative extended counselling schedule, vacancy position, allotted list for admission to MBBS/BDS course for NRI candidates.

Round 1 counseling has been completed for 398 seat, 92 seats were allotted under the NRI category, and the remaining 306 seats are available under NRI Category. It has been decided to conduct an extension of round 1 NRI counselling to fill up the remaining 306 seats. The candidates who have not been allotted in round 1 can participate in the extension counselling.
Candidates participating in online counselling for MBBS/BDS courses will have to pay a non-refundable Rs. 1000/- as processing fee online using a debit card/net banking/credit card. The online counseling based on the rank will select the MBBS/BDS course candidates. Candidates can check the process of online counselling on the website.
Candidates absent at the scheduled time and date of online counseling will not be considered for admission. If a valid reason for absence is communicated to the selection committee, the committee reserves the right to permit the candidate to attend the online counseling. The permitted candidates can only claim the course and college available at the time of online counseling when they attend.
TN has advised the candidates to fill the choice carefully because once the choices are locked cannot be changed. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned medical college on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the provisional allotment order.
The candidates have to submit their original certificates in person when joining their selected college along with the scanned copy of the original certificates. If the candidates do not report to the head of the college to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice.
The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
