NTA opens NEET 2026 application correction window, complete details HERE!

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for NEET 2026 applications.

The exam body will be conducting the National Eligibility Entrance Test (UG) - 2026 on May 03, 2026 (Sunday), from O2:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. (Indian Standard Time). This examination will be conducted in Pen & Paper mode (offline) across various centers in India and abroad.

As per the Information Bulletin and the Public Notice released earlier, it was mentioned that a correction option would be provided for the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) - 2026.

In view of the above, National Testing Agency has informed that the opportunity for correcting or modifying errors/details as per Annexure-I in your Online Application Form for NEET (UG)- 2026 tilurll be available as mentioned below:

We urge all registered candidates to visit the official website and verify their particulars. If necessary you are advised to make corrections or modifications to your Application Form during the specified period.

The window for corrections shall be available till 14 March 2026 (up to 23:50 Hrs). After this deadline, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances.

Since. it is a one-time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunities for corrections will be given to the candidates.

It is important to highlight that final corrections will be applicable only after payment of ang additional fees, if required. In cases where changes affect the fee amount, candidates will be charged ang excess fee accordingly. Please note that any excess payments made will not be refunded.

Correction Fields for the Application Form for the NEET (UG) - 20.26 examination

1 Candidates shall be allowed to change any one of these two fields i. Father Name, Qualification and Occupation OR ii. Mother Name, Qualilication and Occupation
2 Candidates shall be allowed to change/add any / all of these fields i. Educational qualification details (Class X and Class XII) ii. State/UT from where 12tt /Equivalent Passed/Appearing iii. Category iv. Sub-category/PwD v. Signature vi. Number of attempts in NEET (UG)
3 Candidates shall be allowed to change these two fields based on their Permanent and Present Addresses i. Examination City Selection ii. Medium of the Examination
4 Candidate shall be allowed to change identity details (Only for candidates who registered with identity other than Aadhaar)

Note:

i. If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable.

ii. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if ang.

iii. The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the forms shall be frozen.
