NTRUHS cancels 75 MBBS allotments made in 2 medical colleges, Notifies On Revised Special Vacancy Round
Andhra Pradesh- Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) has released a notice for candidates regarding the revised special vacancy round of web counselling for admission to the MBBS course under competent authority quota seats for the academic year 2024-25.
Earlier the University had released 75 allotments for admission into MBBS Course, 2024-25 under Special Stray Vacancy Round on 23-11-2024 - 25 Seats available at Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram and 50 Seats at Viswabharathi Medical College, Kurnool.
With this, in obedience to the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh, the 75 allotments for admissions into the MBBS Course under Competent Authority Quota, 2024-25 in respect of Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram (25 seats) and Viswabharathi Medical College, Kurnool (50seats) are hereby cancelled, the university mentioned in the notice.
On this, the Competent Authority has decided to conduct the Revised Special Stray Counseling by considering the options given by all the candidates, who have not been allotted any seats in any of the medical colleges under any of the categories of Competent Authority, Management and NRI seats and as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court, the notice said
Accordingly, the revised allotments in respect of Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram (25 seats) and Viswabharathi Medical College, Kurnool (50 seats) are released and available on the University's official Website.
Further, the Candidates who have been allotted seats under the revised Special Stray Vacancy Round of counselling shall report at the allotted college compulsorily within the reporting schedule i.e., on or before today i.e. 30th November 2024 by 5.00 PM by downloading the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs.10,600/- along with all original certificates and pay the tuition fee to complete the admission process, such candidate cannot resign the seat allotted. Candidates who have already paid the university fee of Rs. 10,600/- need not pay again.
Meanwhile, the Principals of Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram and Viswabharathi Medical College, Kurnool are directed to return all the original certificates and fees collected from the candidates who have joined as per the allotments released and whose names are not found in the list of allotments under Revised Special Stray Vacancy Round of counselling displayed on 29-11-2024 and submit compliance to the University. University Fee of Rs.10,600/- each in respect of such candidates will be refunded by the University in due course.
