PGIMER releases schedule for MD, MS counselling of Sponsored Candidates, details

Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) has released the counselling schedule for the sponsored candidates for admission to MD/MS course for July 2022 session. Merit wise list of sponsored candidates has also been released.

The candidates who applied under the sponsored category for admission to MD/MS course and qualified for the INI-CET (July-2022) conducted by AIIMS New Delhi need to attend the 1st physical counselling for admission to the above said courses on 8th July 2022 at 11:00 am in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

All the qualified and eligible candidates need to submit the required documents mentioned against their names in Annexure-I through email, i.e., mdmspgi@gmail.com, or in person at Room No. 307, Training Branch, Kairon Block PGIMER, Chandigarh by 6th July 2022.

The common documents to be submitted at the time of counselling for all the selected candidates –

1. 10th Certificate

2. MBBS Degree

3. Internship Certificate

4. MCI/NMC certificate

5. Original NOC and Sponsorship Certificate from their respective employers.

Candidates are requested to be seated in the auditorium at 10:45 am sharp on 8th July 2022 and follow social distancing and Covid-19 protocol.

The eligibility for the MD/MS course of PGIMER Chandigarh will be as per eligibility for appearing in INI-CET. The candidates must possess an MBBS degree, and they must have either completed or are due to complete one-year rotatory internship training on or before 31st January/31st July for January and July sessions, respectively.

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh and was conceived in 1960 as a center of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialties, super specialties, and sub-specialties. Apart from the clinical services, PGI also provides training in almost all disciplines of Medicine, including post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees, diplomas, and fellowships.
