TN Health Begins NEET 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024

Tamil Nadu- Tamil Nadu (TN Health) will start the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 today. The NEET UG special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 is to be conducted for admission to the MBBS and BDS Degree Courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Government & Management Quota (Including NRI Lapsed) seats in Self Financing Medical / Dental Colleges for the academic year 2024-25.

As per the schedule in this regard, NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 is starting today i.e. 25th November 2024 which will end on 05th December 2024. Below is the detailed schedule-

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 Candidates who do not hold any seat are eligible to register for this round (they should have applied to the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee and be present in the merit list).

2 Candidates who have joined before and are continuing in round R1/R2/R3 or Stray round seats are eligible to apply for Re-allotment but they have to register in this round to raise virtual vacancies.

NOT ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 Candidates who have been allotted the seat in the Stray round of the Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee but have “Not Joined” are not permitted in this round.

2 Candidates have joined AIQ in Rounds 1, 2, and 3 and are studying in these seats.

3 Candidates who have been allotted in AIQ Stray round and Special Stray Round (Results being published on 23rd November 2024) Candidates who have resigned / Discontinued the UG-MBBS & BDS Course after the stipulated date i.e.14.10.2024 in Tamil Nadu Medical Counselling.

REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE

1 The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges itself.

2 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with a scanned copy of the original certificates for verification.

3 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

4 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

5 Candidates are advised to be in touch with the TN Health official websites for Schedules / latest updates / Results / Notices / News & Events pertaining to counselling as the Selection Committee will not be individually contacting the candidates for the same.

6 No communication will be directly sent to the Candidates. They are advised to be in touch with the website on a regular basis for any updates.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALLOTTED CANDIDATES

1 If a candidate is allotted in the Special Stray Vacancy round, he/she will have to join the allotted college.

2 Considering the time constraints in this Round, downloading of allotment order by the candidate itself is considered as joining as per the prospectus and the candidate has to report to the institution within the reporting time.

3 Failure to report will be considered as discontinuation and the candidate should pay the Discontinuation fee as per Clause 23 of Government Quota Prospectus/ Clause 20 of Management Quota Prospectus if he/she fails to report before the stipulated time. They also will not be able to participate in TN UG Medical Counselling for the subsequent academic year.

4 The allotted candidate for MBBS seats in all colleges under all categories has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.

5 The Selected candidates (MBBS seats) belonging to SC/SCA/ST/ SCC who have been allotted seats in Govt. Quota and Management Quota in self-financing Medical colleges are exempted from paying tuition fees for downloading the allotment order if the annual income of Parents/Guardians is less than 2.5 Lakhs.

6 The Selected candidate (BDS seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges) has to pay the Tuition Fee at the time of admission to the colleges directly.

7 All candidates should make sure, sufficient funds is available in their bank account with expanded credit/Transaction limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.

7 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical /Dental College on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
