TN Health extends joining date for Round 1 PG medical admissions, details
Tamil Nadu: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME) Tamil Nadu, has announced an extension of the joining and allotment order download deadlines for PG Degree, PG Diploma, and DNB courses for the 2025-2026 academic session, following the revised Round 1 counselling schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
According to the notice issued by the Tamil Nadu (TN Health) in this regard, the Selection Committee has extended the last date for candidates to download their allotment orders as well as the deadline for reporting to the allotted institutions. Therefore, the last date to download the allotment order is 07 December 2025, 3:00 PM and the last date for joining/reporting is 07 December 2025, 5:00 PM.
“In view of the revised Counselling schedule for Round I published by MCC on 25.11.2025, the last date of download for PG Degree/diploma & DNB courses is extended upto 3 PM on 07.12.2025 and the last date of joining is 5 PM on 07.12.2025”, the notice stated.
The notice serves as an important update for candidates allotted seats in Round 1 under Government Quota, Management Quota, Minority Quota, NRI Quota, and CMC Vellore seats, who now have additional time to complete reporting formalities.
