TN Health Releases Schedule For Stray Vacancy Round of NEET PG, NEET MDS admissions, 277 Seats Available for candidates

Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released the counseling schedule for the stray vacancy round for NEET PG and NEET MDS courses. The seat matrix has also been released.

As per the notice, the candidates can do choice filling till 17-10-2023 (08.00 PM). The processing of seat allotment will be done on 18-10-2023. The result will be declared on 18-10-2023. The candidates can download the allotment on 18-10-2023, and the last date to report is 19-10-2023 for MD, MS, and Diploma courses, 20-10-2023 for DNB courses, and 19-10-2023 for MDS courses.

Non-Eligibility –

1. The candidate who joined the course through State Quota counseling of Round 1 & Round 2 & Round 3 (Mop-up)

2. The candidate who was allotted a seat through State Quota Counseling of Round 3 (Mop-up)

3. The candidate who joined the course through All India counseling of Round 1, Round 2 & Round 3 (Mop-up)

4. The candidate who was allotted a seat through All India Counseling of Stray Vacancy Round

Eligible –

All the candidates who do not satisfy the above criteria for non-eligibility are eligible for stray-round counseling.

Candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for MDS Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs.1000/-.

At the time of registration, the fresh candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit (If already paid, need not pay again) for the Government Quota –

For Government Dental Colleges – Rs. 30,000/-

For Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges - Rs. 1,00, 000/-

At the time of registration, the fresh candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit (If already paid, need not pay again) for the Management Quota –

For Management Quota including Minority/ NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges - Rs.2,00, 000/-

All the service candidates who have applied in DNB and in PG MD/MS Degree /Diploma courses, if allotted a seat in MD/MS/Diploma, cannot claim a seat in the DNB course since this is the last round of counseling.

Candidates should be careful while choices filling. They will have the option of choosing to fill all the seats for which they have applied. Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.

If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date (17-10-2023 08.00 PM), their choices will be automatically locked.

STRAY VACANCY ROUND

If allotted and Joined

Not allowed to vacate the seat. If the candidates want to discontinue, then forfeit the Registration fee, security deposit, and Tuition fees and Pay Penalty

If allotted and Not Joined

Forfeit Registration Fee, Security deposit, and Tuition fee

Admission shall be made through online counseling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation. Request for a change of course or College from one to another is not permitted after final locking.

The freshly allotted candidates have to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking. The fee structure is available on the official website of TN Health. All candidates should make sure sufficient fund is available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.

The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Dental College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates for verification. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice.

The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

Seats vacant –

277 seats are vacant for the stray vacancy round. MDS has 61 seats, DNB has 22 seats, and MD/MS/Diploma has 194 seats vacant.
