TN Health Releases Tentative Seat matrix For NRI Category NEET PG candidates, Details

Tamil Nadu: Through a written notice, Tamil Nadu Health has released tentative seat matrix for the NRI category for the PG degree/diploma course admissions.

Total 11 seats are there across 4 courses. The courses include MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology, MD Radio Diagnosis, MD Anaesthesiology, MD Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy.

Following is the seat matrix

1. MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology - 3

3. MD Anaesthesiology - 1

4. MD Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy - 1

Only NEET PG qualified candidates are eligible to attend the counselling. The counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds. A 3rd mop-up round will be conducted if any seats are left vacant after the conclusion of round 2. The candidate must be a citizen of India. The candidate who has completed MBBS from an institution located in the state and is a bonafide resident of Tamil Nadu.

For candidates, it is mandatory to complete a compulsory rotatory residential internship on or before March 31, 2021. Candidates must have also completed the compulsory rotatory residential internship (CRRI) on or before April 31, 2021. The candidate should be registered with the state Medical Council/Medical Council of India.

Counselling process

1. Registration through online.

2. Online security money payment.

3. Merit declaration.

4. Online choice filling.

5. Seat allotment.

6. Reporting to the allotted college.

Documents required

1. NEET PG score card and admit card.

2. Aadhar Card

3. MBBS degree certificate or provisional pass certificate and diploma certificate.

4. CRRI completion certificate.

5. Permanent medical registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

6. Community certificate (if applicable)

7. Nativity certificate (if applicable) with supportive documents.

8. Recent regional medical board certificate for person with disabilities.

9. Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.
