TN PG Medical Admissions 2021: 57 PwD seats available for Christian Minority Candidates, Details

Chennai: Through a recent notice, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tamil Nadu, TN Health has informed the Christian Minority Candidates about the seat matrix allocated for Person with Disabilities Category with respect to PG medical Degree/Diploma Courses 2021-2022 session.

According to the seat matrix released on the official website of TN Health, a total of 57 seats are available for Christian Minority Candidates seeking MD, MS and PG Diploma admissions including 30 open category seats and 27 for service candidates.

All the concerned Christian Minority Candidates are hereby informed that as per the interim orders issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.P.No.8 of 2022 Christian Medical College Vs Government of Tamil Nadu, for the Academic year 2021-2022, students belonging to Christian minority shall be allotted to all PG seats in the Christian minority college by the Selection committee from the NEET merit list. So, a separate Christian Minority list to be prepared from Tamil Nadu State unit followed by counseling for Christian Medical College, Vellore (Christian Minority institution).

Those who have (already) applied, Christian Candidates should send the following documents.

1. Proof of Christian Minority Religion Certificate from the competent Revenue authority.

2. Community Certificate.

3. School Transfer Certificate.(if applicable)

4. Parents Community certificate (Father / Mother).

5. NEET Score Card.

The above certificates should be sent to this e-mail id ddpgselcom@gmail.com and hard copy should reach this office on or before 05.00 P.M on.31.01.2022.
