Along with this, DME UP has also released the essential guidelines regarding choice filling for online counselling of special stray vacancy rounds of UP NEET UG-2024. Below are the guidelines-

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in private sector Medical/Dental College/University are advised to lock their choices only after obtaining complete information about the concerned college at their own level before choice filling.

Candidates interested in admission to seats in private sector medical/dental colleges under the academic session 2024-25 should fill their choice only after reviewing the Government Order regarding all the fees charged by non-minority colleges/institutions/universities, which is available on the departmental official website.

Under the academic session 2024-25, all the fee structures to be charged by the private sector minority medical/dental colleges are available on the departmental official website, therefore, fill in the choice only after reviewing it.

In the counselling of the special stray vacancy round under UP NEET UG-2024, only those candidates who have deposited the registration/security amount and whose documents are found valid after online verification are eligible for the choice filling process.

The candidate will fill the choice online on the basis of preference for admission to government/private sector medical colleges. The candidate should fill the choice of only those colleges in which he is interested in taking admission. There is no limit for online choice filling.

It is mandatory to lock the choices after online choice filling. In case of not locking the choices, the candidate will not be included in the seat allocation process. The entire responsibility for this will be of the candidate himself.

After Choice Lock is done by the candidate, no change or alteration can be made to it nor will any application received in this regard at the Directorate General be considered.

At the time of choice filling in counselling of special stray vacancy round, the unallotted / not admitted and resigned seats from the stray vacancy round will be displayed to the candidates as clear-cut vacancies.

In the counselling of the Special Stray-Vacancy Round, candidates will also be shown the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC). SAC seats are a type of Virtual vacancy, under which at the time of choice filling, candidates will be shown the option of seats of other reserved category/sub-category in addition to the vacant seats of their category. If any seat of the reserved category remains vacant at the time of the allotment process, then the allotment process will be completed by merging such seats as per the table contained in Government Order No.
