UP DGME reopens NEET PG registration portal due to revised Cut-Off Percentile
Uttar Pradesh- After the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) recently reduced the cut-off percentile for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024, the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has announced the dates through a notice for online registration for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling for admission to MD/MS/Diploma and DNB courses in government/private medical colleges.
As per the official notice, the registration portal is being opened due to the cut-off percentile being lowered by MCC New Delhi for online registration for all the upcoming rounds for eligible candidates under UP NEET PG Counseling-2024. Therefore, online registration & deposition of the registration fee/security money process for the UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 begins today i.e. 09th January 2025 from 5:00 PM and will end on 13th January 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Only the candidates declared successful in the NEET PG-2024 entrance examination are eligible to participate in the counselling of UP NEET PG-2024. In addition, only the new candidates registered on the prescribed dates and previously registered candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling.
For the UP NEET PG 2024 counselling, the eligible new candidates must register by logging on to the website UPNEET official website and depositing the registration fee of Rs. 3000/- online. However, the registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances i.e registration fee is not refundable.
Moreover, to participate in the counselling, it is mandatory to deposit a security amount of Rs. 30,000/- for the seats of MD/MS/Diploma and DNB courses in the government colleges and Rs. 2,00,000/- for the seats of MD/MS courses in the private colleges online. On depositing the security amount of Rs. 2,00,000/-, the candidates will be eligible for government and private seats. However, candidates whose registration fee & Security money are not deposited will not be eligible for choice filling in the counselling process.
