WBMCC invites Applications for Round 2 of State Quota Sponsored DNB counseling 2021, Details

Kolkata: Through a recent notice, the Directorate of Medical Education West Bengal and State Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) has invited Application from eligible candidates to participate in WB State Quota Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats counseling 2021 round 2.

In view of the NBE notification regarding reduction of cut off for NEET PG 2021, the application for participation in WB State Quota Sponsored DNB seats counseling 2021 round 2(Post MBBS and Post Diploma) in West Bengal is sought from the eligible candidates. Candidates who were already eligible before reduction of cut off but failed to apply for such sponsored seats at earlier time, are also allowed to apply for such sponsorship if they want so.

1. Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS) seats:

I. Candidates who are working in a Government (State/Central/Autonomous/PSUs, etc.) organization on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS) seats.

AND

ll. Candidates must be in possession of MBBS degree/Provisional Pass as per the provisions Certificate recognized of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

AND

III. Must have "Qualified" NEET PG 2021.[Now as per reduced cut off UR/EWS revised cut off is 35" Percentile i.e. 247 marks: SC/ST/OBC revised cut off is 25th percentile ie. 210 marks: UR PwD candidate revised cut off is 30th Percentile i.e. 229 marks)

2. Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) Seats:

I. Candidates who are working in a Government (State/Central/Autonomous/PSUs, etc.) organization on a regular basis are eligible for Sponsored DNB (Post Diploma) seats.

AND

Il. Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of PostGraduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Govt. of India i.e. have passed final examinations for Post graduate diploma on or before 31 July 2021.

AND

Ill. Candidate must have "Appeared" in DNB-PDCET 2021.

All such candidates who fulfill the aforesaid eligibility criteria and are desirous for opting the sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats 2021 round 2 State Quota counseling are required to submit his/her request to the Director of Medical Education, Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Swasthya Bhawan, GN-29 , Sector -V, Kolkata -700091. (If they belong to WBMES cadre) or Director of Health Services, Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Swasthya Bhawan, GN-29, Sector -V, Kolkata -700091(If they belong to WBHS or WBPH and AS cadre),

Such request letter shall also accompany the following documents (original and one set of self-attested photocopies of such original documents) to be submitted for verification before assistant Director of Medical Education at the Counseling Coll in the ground floor of Swasthya Sathi Building within premises of Swasthya Bhawan (for WBMES cadre) or Assistant Director of Health Services, MERT, Swasthya Bhawan (if they belong to WBHS/WBPH and AS cadre). The candidate shall himself/herself attend such verification.

The format for application is already uploaded in websites www.wbhealth.gov.in and www.wbmec.nic.in.

The following documents are required to be placed for verification (original and one set self attested photocopy):-

1. NEET PG 2021/DNB PDCET 2021 ---rank card and admit card

2. Any two of following valid photo ID (Aadhar card/Voter card/Passport)

3. Age proof (birth certificate/class X admit card/class X certificate)

4. MBBS certificate and final MBBS mark sheet

5. Permanent Registration certificate issued by MCI/NMC/WBMC

6. Caste certificate (as applicable and issued by appropriate authority in West Bengal)

7. Non creamy layer certificate for OBC candidates issued on or after 01.04.2020

8. EWS certificate (as applicable and issued by appropriate authority in West Bengal on or after 1.04.2020)

9. PwD certificate (as applicable and issued by Medical Board of IPGMER Kolkata)

10. Internship completion certificate

11. Proof of previous Diploma if acquired (on or before 31.07.2021)

12. Proof of any bond formalities (if applicable to be completed on or before 31.07.2021)

13. ID card of present employment and No Objection Certificate from present employer and Certificate from present employer stating 3 yrs. of regular service in the State of West Bengal along with mention of present place of posting. Such letter must also clearly indicate that the candidate would avail salary from his/her present employer during the PG training period.

14. Posting order and joining report as 8 proof of regular service.

The application cum verification shall be conducted from 12 noon til 4 pm on 01.04.2022, 04.04.2022, 05.04.2022 at the stated venue. The candidates who fail in verification or does not attend with require documents within schedule time, shall not be included in the list for round 2 of WB State Quota DNB Sponsored seats counseling 2021(Post MBBS and Post Diploma) in West Bengal. The provisionally eligible candidate list shall also be uploaded in the websites www.wbhealth.gov.in and www.wbmec.nic.in for public viewing on or after 07.04.2022.

The candidates shall borne in mind that this list is purely provisional and in no way ensures a seat for a particular candidate. The in-service candidates of Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal must contact respective branch officials to find out whether they are eligible for trainee reserve as per extant rules so that seats are not wasted after allotment if any.
