WBUHS opens Online Registration Portal For MBBS, BDS Courses, details

West Bengal: The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has announced the opening of the online registration portal for fresh candidates for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

As per the notice, the portal will be opened from 16.12.2023- 10:00 AM to 15.01.2024-11:59 PM. Candidates are instructed to complete the online registration during the above-mentioned time. Simultaneously, college approval can be done by the college authorities.

For those who are unable to complete the online registration during the above-mentioned time, the portal will be available till 15.03.2024 -11:59 PM with an applicable late fee. All concerned are requested to refer to the "I Need Help Section" available online on the same page before proceeding with the form fill-up/verification etc.

The SMS and helpline facilities will be available. Candidates are requested to deactivate any existing DND facility in their mobile to avoid SMS failure.

For the purposes of affiliating, teaching, and ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training, and research in the Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Education on Laboratory Technology, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses ‘THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES ACT – 2002’ was passed by the West Bengal Legislature and ‘The West Bengal University of Health Sciences’ came into existence on 1st January 2003 at DD-36, Sector-1, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 064.

From 2003, the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Post-doctoral courses, including the PhD program in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
