In their written complaint, the juniors alleged that the seniors forcibly cut their hair and beat them when they resisted. Among them, three juniors had their hair cut off.
The incident took place when the seniors called the juniors to the Super Speciality Block, where they allegedly ragged them and ordered them to cut their hair. Three students were forced to comply, while others who resisted were beaten.

The juniors then submitted a complaint to the Principal. However, according to a Jagran news report, the college administration was initially reluctant to take action, which led the students to protest on campus on Friday. The Principal later calmed the situation and assured them that action would be taken.
Soon after, the Principal called an emergency meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee. At the meeting chaired by Dr Sanjay Kumar, Chairman of the Anti-Ragging Committee and Administrative Officer, the committee found seven students guilty of ragging and suspended them.
As per Patna Press news report, the suspended students belong to multiple trades, including two OT assistants, one laboratory technician, an ophthalmic technician, and an X-ray technician. All seven students have been directed to appear with their parents on December 2 for further administrative proceedings.
Principal Prof. Abha Rani Sinha told the daily, "The institution treats ragging as a zero-tolerance offence. It has damaged the college’s reputation and harsher action would be taken against anyone found involved in similar acts in the future."
