CPS Mumbai 150th Convocation Ceremony to be held on 8th May, Check out details
Mumbai: The College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS) has announced that the 150th convocation ceremony is scheduled for 8th May 2022, 11:00 am onwards.
Students who are required to be physically present at the convocation ceremony will receive separate intimation. Earlier, CPS notified students about the online convocation form submission with fees. The last date to fill out the form was 22nd April 2022, 6:00 pm.
The Medalist and the Fellows will be invited to be present for the convocation ceremony in person. However, the students called for convocation will have to compulsorily sign the declaration 2 days before the ceremony in the CPS House. This declaration is as per the laws of CPS. The students who do not sign the declaration will not be allowed for the convocation ceremony.
The students must be present at XRXQ+MR6, CPS House, Dr Ernest Borges Rd, Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400012. Students note that a printout of the convocation form and fee receipt is necessary. The fee for Diploma is Rs.3000, and FCPS is Rs.4000.

A student who wants to pursue a postgraduate course from CPS Mumbai must have a basic qualification of MBBS or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India for the purpose of First Schedule or Second Schedule or Third Schedule of the IMC Act 1956 as amended from time to time.
The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai was established in 1913 and is an autonomous body. It imparts postgraduate medical education and offers 17 diplomas, 10 fellowships, and 2 certificate courses. It is located in Mumbai near KEM Hospital, and it caters to doctors from all over India. Once the practitioner completes the tenure of 2 years diploma or 3 years fellowship and passes the exit examination prescribed, the qualifications granted allow them to register themselves as specialists in the speciality concerned.
