CPS Mumbai to hold Convocation on July 8, Last date to submit form June 30, Check out all details

Mumbai: The College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS) has released instructions for students who have applied for the convocation ceremony.

The last date for online convocation form submission with fees is 30th June 2022. All eligible students can submit the online convocation form through their respective CPS login.

The following convocation fees have to be paid –

1. Diploma (InPerson) - Rs.2500

2. Diploma (InAbsentia) - Rs.3000

3. FCPS (InPerson) - Rs.3500

4. FCPS (InAbsentia) - Rs.4000

Students need to carry their hand sanitizers, wear face masks for the convocation ceremony and follow the norms of social distancing. They are directed to carry final vaccination certificate. Entry into convocation hall and occupy designation seat at 1:30 pm. No entry in convocation hall without academic gown.

CPS will make the arrangement of the supply of academic gowns on a hire basis. Hiring charges Rs. 300 for the academic gown and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 2000. Total Rs. 2300 to be paid directly to the contractor authorized by CPS. The gown can be hired between 11 am to 4 pm on 6th July 2022 or 7th July 2022. The gown cannot be hired on 8th July 2022.

Formal dress code has to be followed. No Mobile in the hall will be allowed. Students cannot leave the hall until the end of the ceremony. Rise and remain standing during the procession of the council.

Authorized photographer will be available for taking photographs of ceremony during the handing over of convocation certificate. Student can make advance booking for the same. Personal photographers and/or photography will not be permitted on the convocational hall.

Candidatescannoto invite guests, parents, or friends inside the convocation hall. However, a live display of the ceremony will be projected in the waiting area.

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai, established in 1913, is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowships, 17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses.
