Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya Visits AIIMS Raipur

Raipur: Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Central Minister of Health and Family Welfare(MoHFW), has consented to visit the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, soon. Prof. (Dr.) Nitin M. Nagarkar, Director, AIIMS-R, met him in Delhi and invited him to visit Raipur. Prof. Nagarkar also briefed him on various development projects to be implemented by AIIMS-R.
During the meeting, Prof. Nagarkar said that AIIMS-R provides state-of-the-art facilities to patients coming from Chhattisgarh and nearby states. 'Thousands of patients are reaching AIIMS-R every day for affordable and state-of-the-art health facilities available in the Hospital. AIIMS has played a lead role during the COVID-19 pandemic, Prof. Nagarkar told MoHFW.

Prof. Nagarkar also briefed him on various decisions AIIMS-R took during the Chintan Shivir last month. He has also given multiple suggestions to make the AIIMS system more efficient and people-centric. Dr. Mandaviya accepted the invitation to visit AIIMS-R. The date will be announced later. Anshuman Gupta, Deputy Director (Admin.), accompanied Prof. Nagarkar during the meeting.
