Medicos need to attend Minimum of Two Lecture Series with 80 percent Attendance to eligible for exams: CPS Mumbai

Mumbai: All the CPS enrolled students have to attend a minimum of two lecture series with a minimum of 80% attendance amongst the two lecture series, announced the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS). This is mandatory to be eligible to appear for the CPS examination.

The lecture series is being held from 1st June 2022 to 31st August 2022. The attendance is being recorded on the Electronic Paperless Device (EPD). No physical biometrics is being taken during lectures.

Those students who have not completed two lecture series with a minimum of 80% attendance amongst the two lecture series need to attend the lecture series to be eligible to appear for the CPS examination September-October 2022. However, students who have already completed 2 lecture series with a minimum of 80% attendance amongst the two but still want to attend this series are allowed to attend the series.

The students need to refer 'Enrollment & Examination Rule Book' uploaded on the official website of CPS. For queries, they can mail at cpsonline@cpsmumbai.org.

1. FCPS (Anaesthesiology) and DA

2. TDD

3. DMRE (Part - I)

4. DMRE (Part - II)

5. FCPS (Orthopaedics) & D.Ortho

6. FCPS (Dermt & Vener.) and DDV

7. FCPS (Pathology) and DPB

8. FCPS (Obs. & Gyn.) and DGO

9. FCPS (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology) and DORL

10. DPM (Part - I & II)

11. FCPS (Pathology) & DPB

12. FCPS (Medicine), DGM & DTMH

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai, established in 1913, is an autonomous body imparting Postgraduate Medical Education and offers 10 Fellowships, 17 Diplomas, and 2 Certificate Courses. The qualifications granted by CPS Mumbai allow the Practitioner to register themselves as specialists in the speciality concerned upon completing the tenure of 2 years Diploma or 3 years Fellowship and passing the prescribed exit examination.
