TS Mishra Medical College Lowers Fees for 5 PG medical courses, details
Uttar Pradesh- TS Mishra Medical College has reduced tuition fees for the candidates taking admission to PG medical courses through National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) for the academic year 2024-25.
In this regard, TS Mishra Medical College recently wrote a letter to the Uttar Pradesh Director General Medical Education and Training (UPDGME). Through the letter, the college stated “If the college proposes to charge less tuition fee than the tuition fee prescribed by the government from the candidates admitted in MD / MS course under NEET PG 2024-25”.
Therefore, on this, the college is going to charge less tuition fee than the government-prescribed fee for 5 PG Courses. The 5 MD Courses include Pathology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Community Medicine.

The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, it also provides standard medical facilities to the patients.
The Department of Medical Education was bifurcated in the year 1981 from the Department of Medical Health Services. The separate directorate of Medical Education was established in 1994.It has been functioning as a separate directorate for the last 16 years.
