MUHS issues notice on Conduct of Academic Activities for Medical Colleges

Mumbai: Through a recent circular, the MUHS has notified about the Conduct of Academic Activities at College Level for Medical Colleges.

It is notified to all concerned that the Colleges are required to continue academic activities by optimum utilization of various learning resources available with the Colleges so that there is no academic loss to any students and shall complete syllabus of the students. The attendance of the students shall be maintained by the Colleges as per guidelines prescribed by the University.

The Dean / Principal of the Colleges shall ensure strict compliance on COVID-19 guidelines prescribed by the Central Govt. / State Govt. / Local Authorities as well as the guidelines prescribed by the Central Councils, the Registrar stated in the circular.
Teaching schedule of next academic term for regular Students who are appearing for 2nd MBBS and 3rd MBBS (Part-I) examinations, scheduled in June 2021, should be continued uninterrupted, as these students are carried over to next year, irrespective of the exam results.
A copy of the notice has been forwarded to all the MUHS affiliated medical colleges.
The notice further mentioned the NMC guidelines for reopening the medical colleges.
