MUHS releases final allotment list for Summer Internship programme 2026, joining by May 26

Maharashtra: The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has released the final allotment list for the Summer Internship Program (SIP) 2026, directing selected candidates to report to their allotted SIP centres on or before May 26, 2026.

The university has started issuing allotment letters to candidates through their registered email IDs and advised students to regularly check the online login portal and university website for joining updates, accommodation details, and further instructions related to the internship programme.

All the concerned applicant(s) shall note that, they shall join the SIP center on priority under intimation to SIP Centre. The last date of join concerned allotted SIP Centre is on or before 26/05/2026 up to 12.30pm at own cost. Which may be extended by the University considering the genuineness of the matter. SIP Centre(s) can allow the late joining of concerned SIP allotted students considering the genuineness of matter, under consultation with MUHS IEH Department. It is directed to the concerned Dean / Principal / HOD of all SIP Centre(s) to forward the Joining status of all applicant(s) to the University by same day evening 5:30 PM through login desk.

Further, please note that, no any written /email communication will be entertained in this regards and no written communication will be made to the applicant(s) /candidate(s) or to any SIP center by the University. Hence, for any updates and information, it will be the duty of the concerned applicant/enrolled SIP center to visit the University website regularly and check the details.

In view of the feedback and responses from previous year(s) it has been decided by the MUHS that, allotment of the student(s) shall be done on pro-rata basis, considering the number of applications received from each faculty, in order to give sufficient representation to each faculty students, as mentioned below.

It has been clarified that the students who have already participated in the said scheme in previous year(s) have again submitted their applications to the University. In such cases fresh candidates (who didn’t get any opportunity to undergo SIP Programme) will get priority in allotment and if vacancy exists, applicants who have participated in the scheme earlier will be considered for allotment.
