MUHS to hold Additional Mini Convocation; details

Nashik: Through a recent notification, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has informed about the conduction of Additional (Mini) Convocation 2020 in absentia mode. 

After the said additional Convocation, the Degree/Diploma Certificates of these medicos, who have submitted their application within the stipulated time period, will be sent to their concerned medical colleges.

It has been notified to all the Deans / Principals & students of all the affiliated Colleges/Institutions of the University by Dr Ajit G. Pathak, Controller of Examinations that as per the provision under section 80 and the Statute No. O3/2OO2, the approval to hold the Additional (Mini) Convocation in absentia on 3O/06/2O2O has been accorded by the Hon'ble Chancellor of the University. Accordingly, the Additional (Mini) Convocation in absentia will be held on 3O/O6/2O2O.

In the said Convocation, the Degree/ Diploma will be conferred to the eligible PhD candidates, Post Graduate & Diploma courses students and Under Graduate courses students who would be completing their internship training after the regular Convocation till the previous day of the Additional (Mini) Convocation (i.e. 29/06/2020). The Degree/Diploma Certificates will be issued to the students in absentia only and will be sent to their respective colleges.

Eligible students are advised to download the Application Form, which is available on University website. The applications duly completed in all respects will only be accepted. The applications should reach to the Controller of Examination on or before 26/06/2O2O.

It is further informed that those candidates who fail to submit their application within stipulated time period and application received at a later date will attract late fee charges mentioned in University Circular dated 21/03/2014.

Important information and instructions for students

1) An Additional (Mini) Convocation of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik is scheduled on 30/06/2O2O.

2l The following students will be eligible for award of Degree/Diploma in the said Convocation.

(a) All Post Graduate and Diploma courses students passed in Winter 2019 session examinations as well as PhD students who have been declared eligible for award of PhD degree upto 29/06/2O2O.

(b) All Under Graduate courses students (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS, BASLP) in Winter-2O18 session exams and completed/ completing one-year internship training up to 29/06/2O2O.

(c) All Under Graduate courses students (OT, PT and B.P.O.) passed in Summer-2019 session examinations and completed/completing six months internship training up to 29/06/2O2O.

(d) Under Graduate Nursing courses students passed in Winter-20l9 session examinations.

(e) All Fellowship and certificate courses passed earlier.

3) The Degree/Diploma Certificates will be issued to the students in absentia only.

4) After the said Convocation, the Degree/Diploma Certificates of these students, who have submitted their application within the stipulated time period, will be sent to their concerned colleges.

5) The eligible students shall send application form to the University in the prescribed format available on the University website duly completed in all respects.
