Summer 2020 MUHS UG, PG Exams to be conducted after COVID crisis review

Mumbai: Through a recent circular, the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has informed about the conduct of UG and PG university examinations and that they would be held after thorough review of the coronavirus pandemic's situation in the state.

The notice issued by Dr Ajit Gajanan Pathak, Controller of Examinations informing about the said effect clearly stated:

All undergraduate and all postgraduate theory examinations to be conducted by MUHS, Nashik for Summer-2020, will be held after 15th June 2020 due to unprecedented situations arisen due to COVID-19 pandemic. After theory examinations, practical examinations will be conducted.
However, a detailed time table of theory and practical examinations of all UG and PG faculties will be published on MUHS website after taking the review of COVID-19 situation in the Maharashtra state.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences with jurisdiction over the whole of the State of Maharashtra is established and incorporated on 3rd June 1998 for the purposes of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in modern medicine and Indian Systems of Medicine in the State of Maharashtra, and to have balanced growth in the medical sciences so also uniformity in various courses in medical faculty in the State.

MUHS is conducting online classes for its students on digital platforms including Zoom app. The concerned students can participate in Live Lecture through Zoom App, with below-mentioned Meeting ID. The Zoom App can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

During Zoom Lecture, the participants are also requested to "Mute Audio" and "Disable Video", while the lecture is in the process; failing which the respective participant will be removed from the lecture and another student will be given chance to participate in the lecture. If any student needs to ask the question, he/she is required to click the "Raise Hand" button available in the Zoom App, thereafter, the teacher will allow him/her to speak (do not start the video at this time also).
