WBUHS publishes conduct of counselling for M Phil admissions to JENPAS PG 2020 passed candidates, Details

West Bengal: Through a recent notice, the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has released the conduct of counselling for M Phil admissions to candidates who passed JENPAS PG 2020 examination.

The university has notified that the intending candidates for admission to the M. Phil courses under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, who appeared in the JENPAS PG 2020 examination and have secured a rank in the merit list published by WBJEEB, are hereby instructed to appear at the respective colleges for "verification of documents, counseling and subsequent admission" as per the schedule given below:

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

1. Admit of JENPAS PG 2020.
2. Rank Card as published by WBJEEB.
3. Proof of age.
4. Proof of successful completion of the qualifying examination.
5. Proof of Reservation (SC/ST/OBC A or B) if applicable. The OBC candidates must furnish a current certificate showing that they do not belong to the creamy layer.
**NOTE:
a) The students have to report to their respective colleges within 12:00 PM.
b) Admission process will start from 1 PM onwards.
c) The document verification & admission procedure shall be conducted OFFLINE on the date & time as scheduled above.

For the purposes of affiliating, teaching and ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training and research in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Education on Laboratory Technology, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses 'THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES ACT – 2002' was passed by the West Bengal Legislature and 'The West Bengal University of Health Sciences' came into existence on 1st January, 2003 at DD-36, Sector-1, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 064.

From 2003 the University took up the responsibility of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Post-doctoral courses including the Ph. D programme in Modern System of Medicine, Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Ayurvedic System of Medicine, Unani System of Medicine, Nursing Education, Pharmacy Education, Dental Education, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Education on other paramedical courses like Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics-Orthotics in the state of West Bengal.
