Bhopal: Recently,  the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission in Bhopal, operating under the Madhya Pradesh Government, has released the fee structure for MBBS, MD, MS, BDS, MDS, Nursing, Pharma courses for the academic year 2023-24. The commission's notice provides detailed insights into the fees allocated to different courses, shedding light on both tuition fees and miscellaneous charges.

The fee structure for the diverse range of courses follows a standard pattern, consisting of 15% miscellaneous fees and 85% tuition fees.

A. MBBS Course: Candidates pursuing the MBBS program will pay a total fee of INR 1,535,000, which includes INR 1,304,750 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 230,250 (15%) for miscellaneous charges. The university had proposed a total fee of INR 1,800,000 for this program.

B. MD/MS Clinical Courses: For students enrolled in MD/MS Clinical courses, the total fee varies by speciality. The fees range from INR 1,665,000 to INR 1,765,000, encompassing tuition fees and additional costs. The university's prescribed fees for these programs are generally higher.

C. MD/MS Non-Clinical Courses: Students embarking on MD/MS non-clinical programs will pay a total of INR 100,000, with INR 85,000 (85%) designated for tuition fees and INR 15,000 (15%) for miscellaneous expenses.

D. MD Pathology course: Candidates pursuing MD Pathology will remit INR 800,000.

E. BDS and MDS Courses: BDS program candidates will pay a total of INR 180,000. For students undertaking the MDS course, the total fee is INR 538,700, with INR 457,895 (85%) allocated for tuition fees and INR 80,805 (15%) reserved for miscellaneous charges.

F. Pharmacy Courses (B.Pharma, M.Pharma, D.Pharma): The fee structure for pharmacy courses varies.  B.Pharma students will pay INR 65,000, which includes INR 55,250 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 9,750 (15%) for miscellaneous fees. In contrast, the university's proposed total fee for B.Pharma is INR 90,000. M.Pharma students will pay INR 65,000, with a prescribed university fee of INR 85,000. D.Pharma students will remit INR 102,000, which includes INR 86,700 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 15,300 (15%) for miscellaneous charges.

G. Nursing Courses (BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, Post Basic Nursing): The fee structure for nursing courses varies as well. BSc Nursing students will pay INR 82,500, including INR 70,125 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 12,375 (15%) for supplementary costs. MSc Nursing students will remit INR 161,500, with INR 137,275 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 24,225 (15%) for miscellaneous charges. Post Basic Nursing students will pay INR 58,500, including INR 49,725 (85%) for tuition fees and INR 8,775 (15%) for miscellaneous charges.

These fee structures aim to provide transparency to students and parents, ensuring they are well-informed about the costs associated with their chosen courses. It's important to note that the fees established by the commission differ from the university's proposed fees in some cases.
