Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has informed the candidates about the  "no objection certificate" required for transfer/migration of students from one medical college to another affiliated with MUHS after passing the 1st Year MBBS examination.

As per the notice, the matter of transfer (within MUHS & Vice Versa) / migration (From Other Universities to MUHS) of students from one medical college to another medical college affiliated with this University is being dealt with by the Director, Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai, as per online notification published by them from time to time.

All desirous candidates are requested to apply physically or by post in the prescribed form A-1 attached with this notification for obtaining a no-objection certificate of this University along with the requisite fees prescribed by the University from time to time. This fee will be non-refundable.


The following documents have to be submitted –

1. HSC Mark sheet (True Copy)

2. First Professional Exam. MBBS Mark Sheet (True Copy)

3. No Objection Certificate from Relieving college as mentioned in DMER, Mumbai Notification (True Copy)

4. No Objection Certificate from Receiving college as mentioned in DMER, Mumbai Notification (True Copy)

5. Certificate from the respective Dean / Principal stating that the Relieving & Receiving College / Institutions are recognized by the concerned National Medical Commission / Council (True Copy)

6. Online Payment receipt or Demand Draft drew Rs. 5000 in favor of the Registrar, MUHS, Nashik from Nationalized Bank, payable at Nashik for transfer and Rs. 10000 for migration

7. Admission letter issued by the Competent Authority / Dean / Principal (True Copy)

8. No Objection Certificate from Relieving University in case the Student is from another university in India / Deemed University in Maharashtra

If they fail to produce the above documents, candidates will not be considered for obtaining a No Objection Certificate by the University

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is a higher education institution in Nashik, Maharashtra. The University was established on June 3, 1998, by the Government of Maharashtra through an ordinance. The State Legislature passed the ordinance, and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences was declared open by the governor of Maharashtra on June 10, 1998. All colleges and institutions imparting education in health science in the state of Maharashtra have been affiliated with this new University under Section 6(3) of the Act.
