NBE directs its accredited institutes to submit online consent for Inclusion, Exclusion of DNB SS seats in seat matrix

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board Of Examinations (NBE) has informed about the Consent for Inclusion/Exclusion of DNB Super Specialty seats in the seat matrix for 2020 Admission Session.

The Admission to DNB Super Specialty courses shall be through the NEET-SS 2020, which will be conducted by NBE on 15th September 2020.

To all the concerned NBE accredited hospitals /institutions, the exam board has notified that it is in the process of preparing the seat-matrix for the counselling for admission to DNB super specialty courses.

NBE Accredited hospitals have to submit their consent online only at https://accr.natboard.edu.in via Hospital Login/Sign-up, for inclusion/exclusion of the accredited DNB super specialty seats for the seat-matrix.

The hospital will have to log in using the User ID and Password and indicate the number of seats to be included in the counselling against each specialty. The last date for submitting the online consent is 31st July 2020.

The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of the Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on All India Basis and utilizing existing healthcare infrastructure for capacity building.

NBE at present conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialities leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board. The Medical Council of India has laid down standards for postgraduate examinations conducted by various medical colleges and affiliated to concerned universities and other institutions, yet the levels of proficiency and standards of evaluation vary considerably in these institutions.
