NBE Empanels 1 more institute for Skill Lab Training, details
New Delhi- Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has informed about the addition of 1 more empanelled institute to provide Skill Lab training to NBEMS trainees.
As per the addendum, NBEMS has empanelled Vydehi Advanced Simulation Academy (VASA) Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Institute to provide skills laboratory training in various courses.
The Skill Lab shall offer the courses/programme at discounted prices for NBEMS trainees. NBEMS trainees are encouraged to utilise the skill lab to enhance their clinical skills as per their course curriculum and the availability of suitable Skill lab courses at these Institutes. However, it is to be noted that attending these skill lab courses is not a mandatory requirement for NBEMS trainees.
NBEMS trainees who are attending these Skill Lab courses/programmes have to bear all the costs at their level only. However, NBEMS shall not be responsible for the cost proposed by the skill labs.
NBEMS shall not be responsible or interfere in any dispute arising between the applicant candidate & Skill Lab.
Meanwhile, according to the earlier notification in this regard, the NBE released the list of the 9 institutes stating that in its endeavour to upgrade and enhance the skills of NBEMS trainees, NBEMS has empanelled the following institutes/hospitals to provide the skill lab training in various courses-

8 | Muljibhai Patel Society for Research in Nephro-Urology. |
9 | JSS AHER Skill and Simulation Centre. |
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) was established in 1975 in New Delhi. It is an autonomous entity within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NBE conducts a few examinations such as DNB final (exit) examinations, Fellowship Entrance and Exit examinations, NEET-SS for admission to DM/Mch/DrNB superspecialty medical courses across India, etc.
