Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the date for submission of applications for Review of Accreditation (2023 Session).

As per the notice, the last date for submission of the online application for Review of Accreditation is 15-11-2023. NBE had earlier released the application form for Review of Accreditation – 2023 vide its notice dated 11-09-2023, and the cut-off date was 31-10-2023.

For any query/assistance related to the accreditation application, please contact NBEMS through the Communication portal. This portal can be accessed through Quick Link “Communication Web Portal” under the “Contact Us” menu of the NBEMS website.

The following fee has to be submitted at the time of submission of the application form for Review of Accreditation for each accredited department –

The process to submit the online application form –

1. Go to the NBE website

2. Click “Accreditation” Icon

3. Login to the Online Accreditation Application Portal (OAAP)

4. Click the “Annual Review” link under Quick link option

5. Start submitting online Application form for Review of Accreditation in 2023

6. Pay the fee INR 35400/- (30000/- + 18% GST) through Online payment gateway

NBEMS has introduced a Review of accreditation from 2020 onwards, according to which the accredited departments have to submit an application form in the prescribed format for review of the ongoing accreditation in terms of minimum accreditation criteria.

The grant of provisional accreditation by NBEMS to any hospital in any speciality is for 05 years. The application form for Review of Accreditation is required to be submitted once in the Accreditation cycle of 05 years (i.e. in 3rd year of accreditation).

The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of Medical Education.
