NBE Nod to 3 DNB Specialities at Telangana's Hospital
Telangana- Bringing good news for PG medical aspirants, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has recently approved the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses at TGSRTC hospital in Tarnaka, Telangana. This includes the allocation of seven seats in three departments.
In this regard, TGSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation) Tarnaka Hospital had written an application to NBEMS, requesting them to improve the quality of medical care for RTC employees by offering recognized PG medical courses. Therefore, after a comprehensive review, NBEMS has approved 3 seats in General Medicine, 2 in General Surgery and 2 in Orthopaedic Surgery.
According to TGSRTC, admission for 3-year PG courses will be based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) scores, while DNB-PDCET will be the criteria for 2-year diploma courses starting in the upcoming academic year.
On this, speaking to The Hans India, TGSRTC MD VC Sajjanar Sajjanar emphasized that the hospital will attract top doctors, which will significantly increase the health security of RTC employees. He highlighted that the TGSRTC management has converted the Tarnaka Hospital into a super specialty facility aimed at providing better medical care to the employees. He reiterated the management's commitment to improve medical services for the employees and develop it into a comprehensive health RTC.
