NBE Opens Final Edit Window For FMGE 2023 candidates To Rectify Images In Applications, details

Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has opened the final edit window for applicants of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2023 to rectify images in applications.

As per the notice, the window opened on 6th January 2024 and will remain open till today (8th January 2024) till 11:55 pm. Pursuant to the closure of the selective edit window on 1 January 2024, it has been noted that some candidates have not uploaded their photographs, signatures, and/or thumb impressions as per prescribed image upload instructions even now. Such candidates must rectify the image(s) in their application form during the selective and final edit window.

Incorrect images can be edited any number of times before the closure of the final edit window. Please note that the last submitted information will be saved in the records. The image upload instructions are detailed in the FMGE December 2023 information bulletin. Said instructions were notified vide NBEMS notice dated 09.09.2022 as well.

The applicants for FMGE December 2023 are hereby advised to go through the Image Upload Instructions carefully. Please be apprised that uploading images in the application form which are not in accordance with the guidelines prescribed or failure to rectify the images even in this FINAL edit window shall invite rejection of the application. No further opportunity shall be extended to rectify the incorrect images.

Incorrect Captured Photograph/ Incorrect Uploaded Photograph –

1. Photograph older than 3 months

2. Lack of light in the room

3. Not using white/light colored background

4. Overexposed/underexposed photo

5. Absence of formal attire while taking the photo

6. Objects behind you while capturing the photograph

7. Blurred image; Poor image quality

8. Eyes closed/not looking into the camera

9. Eyes not visible due to glare on spectacles

10. Black and white photograph

11. Uploading photograph showing it on a mobile phone

12. Cropped photograph from a group photo

13. Does not contain the full face, ears, neck, and shoulders of the entrant in frontal view; Side pose taken/selfie uploaded

Incorrect Signature –

1. Blurred signatures

2. Signature in capital letters

3. Signature on ruled page

4. Initials only; Not complete signatures

5. The whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for signatures

Incorrect Thumb Impression –

1. Pressed too lightly

2. Pressed too hard

3. Too much ink

4. Not enough ink covering the entire fingertip

5. Center loop and/or Deltas not legible

6. The whole page has been scanned and uploaded instead of the box drawn for impression
