NEET PG Counselling 2020: MCC clarifies on Reset Button

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has clarified about the facility of reset button for candidates who are appearing for NEET PG counselling 2020 Round 2 for admission to PG medical courses this academic session.

Using this facility, candidates who made a mistake while filling the NEET PG 2020 admission form and want to rectify it, can now do so.

All the concerned candidates who are set to appear for Round 2 counselling can view the below-mentioned details of the said notice as uploaded by the MCC on its official website:

Candidates applying for Round 2 of NEET PG, 2020 are hereby informed that the 'Reset Button' shall be made available from 3 rd June 2020 to 8th June 2020 (till 05:00 PM).
It is further informed that the Candidates can avail the facility of 'Reset Button' only once.

The MCC had released the schedule for Round 2 of online counseling (Allotment Process) for NEET 50% AIQ, Deemed, Central Universities, AFMS (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats 2020 academic session.

Transfer of Non-Reporting & Non Joining /Vacant seats of 50% All India PG Quota seats to State Quota (at 6:00 PM) 18th June 2020

The counseling body had earlier informed about the deadline for the Resignation of PG Medical seats allotted under All India quota (AIQ) Round-1 counseling due to ongoing coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.

Keeping in view the arduous situation due to COVID-19 outbreak, it has been decided by the Competent Authority to allow the Candidates who have joined their allotted college of Round 1 (both online/offline mode), to resign from their allotted seat by 5:00 p.m. of 1st June 2020 (Monday).

Colleges are also requested to E-mail the resignation letter to the candidates.

MCC is conducting the counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states except J&K.

b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.

c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities.

d) 50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).

e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).

f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats, and 50% seats of I.P University).
