NEET PG, MDS Counselling in Gujarat: Round 1 Choice filling process begins, 2167 seats available for candidates

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has begun the choice-filling process for round 1 of NEET PG and NEET MDS. The seat matrix has also been released.

As per the notice, the candidates can carry out the choice-filling process up to 10.8.2023 till 02:00 pm. The choices will be displayed on 10.8.2023 at 5:00 pm.

Guidelines for choice filling –

1. The candidates need to log in to their account and then enter their USER ID (SR NO. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button

2. Click here on the Choice details

3. Available Choice: available choices can be seen

4. Please check annual fees and term fees

5. Candidates have to pay term fees at the time of admission in case of NRI admission Rs. 10 lakh DD in favor of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar

6. Click on fill choices to fill in the choices

7. Filter your choices by branch, subject, institute type, seat type, and institute

8. Add your choices; the candidates can add an unlimited number of choices

9. The candidates can move and delete their choices according to their preference

10. The candidates can re-arrange their choices by serial number

11. Fill Choice: the candidates can add choices from the left side panel to the right side

12. Blue: Govt. Institute / Green: SFI institute

13. GQ: Government Quota/ MQ: Management Quota/ NQ: NRI quota

14. After save and exit choices page, the candidates can review their choices

15. Click on modify choices to modify choices

16. After typing 14-digit PIN no., the candidates can lock their choices

17. The candidates must take printouts of their locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will consider print-out of their locked choices only

18. The candidates can again Un-Lock choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. to modify the choices

19. If the candidates fail to lock choices, it will be automatically locked on the last day

Seat matrix –

There are a total of 2167 seats vacant for round 1. MD/MS has 1892 seats, Diploma has 16 seats, PWD MD/MS/Diploma has 27 seats, and MDS has 232 seats vacant.

All candidates are requested to follow the choice filling of counseling as per their desire with/without considering the seat matrix available on the website -

1. Vacant NRI seats will be converted to management seats

2. Vacant management seats will be converted to government seats

3. Vacant institutional seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to respective categories of state seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS).

4. Vacant Reserved Category State seats (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to open state seats

5. Vacant In-service/PwD seats will be converted to state seats in their respective category

Above procedure will be followed during the allotment process.

After giving allotment to all reserved category candidates to reserved seats, reserved category seats are transferable to unreserved category seats. This process will be done at the time of allotment of the 2nd Round. E.g., from NRI quota to Management quota and from SC, ST, SEBC, EWS to General (Open) category, from PwD Quota to respective category, In service quota to respective category.
