NEET UG, PG Counselling 2020: MCC notifies on refund failure towards 633 candidates, Details

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed regarding the refund failure towards 633 candidates who participated in NEET- UG and NEET PG counselling for the academic year 2020.

As per the notice, MCC has received information from the Financial Custodian that refunds to 633 candidates, as per the attached list, could not be processed due to various reasons such as (accounts have been closed and changed, chargeback claims etc.,) therefore, Bankers could not complete the refund of security deposit.

The bankers ensured that "Our Financial Custodian is in under process of refunding the security deposit to the Remaining 633 Candidates."

The mentioned candidates are requested to provide an affidavit incorporating format as mentioned in the document attached beow, the said affidavit has to be duly signed and should be notarized along with all documents required to be sent to bank_aiiacc@lifecarehll.com to enable our financial custodian to initiate the refund again.

This year, The MCC/ Directorate General of Health Services, MoHFW, GoI will conduct the NEET PG Counselling 2021 for the following:

a) 50% All India Quota seats of all states. This year Jammu & Kashmir is likely to participate in All India Quota counselling subject to confirmation from competent State authorities.

b) 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Information Bulletin duly uploaded on MCC website.

c) 100% seats of Deemed Universities

d) All P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation.

e) All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only Registration part)

f) Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital & ABVIMS & RML Hospital (50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University)

g) From this academic year i.e 2021-22, MCC will be conducting counseling for PG DNB seats of Institutions across India affiliated to NBEMS as per the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.P (C) No. 11011 of 2020 in the matter of Alapati Jyotsana Vs. UoI & Ors. NBEMS accredited Institutes should ensure to visit MCC websites for latest updates and a Nodal Officer should be assigned for the purpose of counselling.

h) For participation in NEET PG Counselling 2021 the candidates are required to go for Registration at the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in).

i) Kindly note that Non- Refundable registration fees and Refundable Security deposits have to be paid by the candidates at the time of registration as per their category.

j) The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Round-2 & in further Rounds of counselling will be Forfeited.

k) Reservation of seats under SC, ST, OBC, EWS & PwD Category will be as per Gazette Notifications, Supreme Court directions, and O.Ms issued by GoI.
