AIIMS Invites Applications for NORCET 8: Check deadline, Fees, Qualifications

New Delhi- The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has invited online applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8 for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-, Group-B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes.

As per the official notice issued in this regard, the online application is already made available on the AIIMS official website from 24 February 2025. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates can submit the Online applications through the website upto 5:00 P.M.

STEPS FOR APPLY

STEP 1- Visit the official website of AIIMS, New Delhi.

STEP 2- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) - 8’.

STEP 3- A new page will appear on the screen.

STEP 4- Click on the NORCET link.

STEP 5- A new page will appear on the screen.

STEP 6- Click on NORCET 8 link.

STEP 7- Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application.

STEP 8- Pay the required fee and click on submit.

STEP 9- Take a printout of your application for future reference.

APPLICATION FEES

Meanwhile, while registering for NORCET 8, candidates also need to pay the application fees through Debit card, credit card or net Banking. Transaction or Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the bank by the candidate. However, the application fees once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Also, applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.

Moreover, application Fees of SC and ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after the declaration of results in due course of time after verification of SC and ST certificates to be uploaded at a later stage.

The General/OBC Candidates need to pay application fees of Rs 3000/-, SC/ST Candidates/EWS Candidates need to pay application fees of Rs 2400/. Although, application fees for Persons with Disabilities are being exempted.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council Council-recognised institute or University

OR

B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ University.

b Registered as a nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.

OR

a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.

b Registered as a nurse & Midwife in the State / Indian Nursing Council.

c Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50-bed Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.

The NORCET Preliminary for the online (CBT) for Stage I will be conducted on 12th April 2025 (Saturday) and NORCET Mains for the Online (CBT) for Stage II will be conducted on 2nd May 2025 (Friday).
