New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation for BSc Nursing Hons 2020 Course.

The 1st Round of Online Seat allocation for AIIMS B.Sc. (H) Nursing 2020 Session, the CBT Online Examination for which was held on 21.08.2020 has been done on the basis of choices made (from 11.00 am, 03.10.2020 to 5.00 pm, 04.10.2020) by eligible candidates. The General Rules for Online B.Sc. (H) Nursing Online Seat Allocation are at the end of this document.

Important information
1. This list includes all candidates who were eligible for the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation (Those who have either registered or not registered for the Online Seat Allocation process through the online portal).
2. This list does not include Foreign Nationals candidates.
3. Candidates who did not participate in the 1st Round of online Seat Allocation are NOT ELIGIBLE for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation but can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
4. For the 2nd Round, the order of Seat Allocation will be based on the merit order used for the 1st Round.
5. For the open round, the order of Seat Allocation will be based on the original merit list.

Procedure to be followed by candidates who have been allotted seat in the 1st round of online seat allocation

All candidates who have been allotted a seat in the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation are required to login through the portal by visiting at the website www.aiimsexams.org and actively exercise one of the following options by 4.00 PM on 12th November, 2020. Failure to select any of the option as below will lead to forfeiture of the allocated Seat and the candidate will become ineligible to participate in 2nd Round.
Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation
[If you choose option‐2 and participate in next round and you are allocated another seat as per your choice in next round, then you will have to join the seat allocated during next round and the previously allocated seat shall be deemed vacated and automatically be allocated to candidate next in merit as per choice. The vacated seat shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit in the same round. Failure to join the upgraded seat in next round of seat allocation shall lead to impositions of penalty of Rs. 1.00 Lakh if you do not join upgraded seat.]
If you choose option 1 or 2, then you are required to report to respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS on or before Thursday, 12th November, 2020 by 04.00 PM with a printed copy of the chosen option and complete the formalities as required. All participating AIIMS have to complete the formalities and update it online by 4.00 pm on Thursday, 12th November, 2020. Kindly make online choices and report to the respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS well in advance to avoid last minute rush. Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of the allocated seat and render you ineligible to participate in 2nd Rounds.
Instruction for each option is as follows:
Option 1: If the Option of ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Online Seat Allocation is selected then,
• The candidate will have to report the respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS on or before Thursday, 12th November, 2020 by 4.00 pm with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) for depositing original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh in the name of the allotted AIIMS (see details below) along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded when original certificates are deposited.
• It must be noted that by exercising this choice the candidate is OPTING NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN FURTHER ROUNDS OF SEAT ALLOCATION.
• If original certificates are not deposited at the time of reporting, these will have to be submitted on or before 17.11.2020 by 4.00 P.M. otherwise admission will be cancelled, the deposited money will be forfeited, and candidate will not be eligible for any further participation in counselling.
• In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report by 4.00 pm on Thursday, 12th November, 2020, the offer of admission will be cancelled and she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of seat Allocation. However these candidates can participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
Option 2: If the option of ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2ndROUND of Seat Allocation is Selected
• The candidate will have to report the respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS by 4.00 pm on Thursday, 12th November, 2020 with the Offer Letter (downloaded from the MyPage after login at www.aiimsexams.org) for depositing original certificates OR a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1 Lakh in the name of the respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS (see details below) along with photocopies of certificates. The DD will be refunded when original certificates are deposited for joining a seat in any round of counselling but will be forfeited if no seat is taken at the end of all rounds.
• In the event of a candidate who has exercised this option but does not report to the allotted Institute by 4.00 pm on Thursday, 12th November, 2020, the admission will be cancelled and she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation.
Note: If any candidate who has been allocated a seat in the 1stRound of Online Seat Allocation does not respond in any of the above manner, her seat allocation shall stand cancelled and she shall be ineligible for all further Rounds of Seat Allocation except the Open Round of Seat allocation. Candidates who have chosen Option 1 or Option 2 and wish to make online payments instead of depositing Demand Draft, the following procedure is to be followed:
a. Instead of Demand Draft, the candidates can deposit the amount of 1 Lakh through electronic fund transfer in the Account given below:‐

b. The details of the Transaction with Transaction ID, Amount and Date of electronic fund transfer should be sent to designated email ID of the Nodal Officer of allocated AIIMS with copy (CC) to aiims.bsccounselling@gmail.com. The self‐attested scanned copies of the required certificates should also be attached.
c. The completion of formalities using online method of payment will be treated as reporting through authorized representative. Candidates with OPTION ‐1 shall complete admission process as per instruction on or before 12th November, 2020 at respective allocated AIIMS OR any other participating AIIMS. Candidates under OPTION 2 need not report in person and will continue provisionally eligible for 2nd round if all process of online payment completed. Rest all remains same including important dates as published.

Policy regarding the depositing of documents/certificates/DD

The claim to the allotted seat by candidates is subject to verification of original documents for eligibility as applicable as well as identity verification of candidate. If a candidate fails to submit all required certificates (original or photocopies with DD) her candidature shall stand cancelled, the seat offered in 1st Round shall be vacated for next Round and she will not be allowed to participate in 2nd Round of seat allocation process. However, the candidate will be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation (if any).
List of Documents/Certificates that are required to be deposited in Original OR photocopy along with Demand Draft as applicable.
i) Admit Card issued by AIIMS
. ii) Registration Slip
iii) Offer Letter
iv) Seat allocation letter
v) Certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
vi) Certificate from the Board showing her date of birth.(10th Passing Certificate)
vii) Mark‐sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. 12th class under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination in proof of having secured 55% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
viii) 12th class Migration Certificate
ix) The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable*:
a. SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate* issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. Community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be same as provided to Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi within in due dates.
Note: OBC/EWS Certificate* should be issued by the competent authority for central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub‐caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC Certificates that are applicable only for respective State Governments shall not be acceptable. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.
* The allocated AIIMS of candidates who fail to produce valid certificates of respective constitutional categories (OBC, SC/ST/EWS) will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further rounds under UR category subject to conditions applicable to UR merit list.
* The validity of OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate shall be 16.04.2019 to 21.08.2020 (both date inclusive). Certificate issued within this period shall be accepted only.
b. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability** issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.
Self attested one set photocopy of above certificates
Note: Candidates must note that a certificate from any other person/authority will not be accepted and no further correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.
** The allocated seat of candidates who fail to produce valid certificate of PWBD category will be forfeited and the candidates will be permitted to participate in further round under their respective constitutional category subject to conditions applicable to respective merit list.

Policies regarding eligibility for 2nd Round

The candidates who are allocated seats in the 1st round and have chosen the option 2 (mentioned above) and have fulfilled the requirements are eligible for the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation. However, the eligible candidates must login within the dates mentioned in the important dates link for the participating in the 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation.
All the candidates who had participated in the 1stround and not allocated any seat will automatically be eligible for the next round.
All candidate who were eligible for the Mock/1st Round of Counselling but did not register or fill choices (NR/NP* in this notification) are not eligible for the 2nd Rounds of Counselling.

General rules adopted for 1stround of online seat allocation

1. Merit shall be the guiding and overruling principle for counselling.
a. The merit list as published in the Result Notification No. 116/2020 dated 15/10/2020 shall be used to determine merit
b. All candidates whether of the unreserved or appropriate reserved category shall be eligible for the unreserved category seats in order of merit
c. Unreserved category candidates are not eligible for reserved category seats
2. The Seats available for allocation are: Unreserved (UR), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), OBC (Other Backward Class), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), PWBD (Orthopedically Handicapped/Persons with Disability/PWD)
Unreserved Seats: All candidates are eligible
EWS Seats: Only EWS candidates are eligible
OBC Seats: Only OBC candidates are eligible
SC Seats: Only SC candidates are eligible
ST Seats: Only ST candidates are eligible
PWBD Seats: Only PWBD candidates are eligible
a. All reservations other than for PWBD are vertical reservations (reserved only in the respective categories)
b. PWBD Reservations are horizontal reservations (across categories)according to a point‐based roster as mentioned in the prospectus
c. PWBD seats that remain vacant DURING first round of counseling will be released for counseling in the 1st Round itself in their respective categories
3. Every candidate shall be allocated her best choice available at that rank for the 1st Round.
4. If at a particular rank for a candidate, the best choice of the candidate is available in both the open merit (unreserved) as well as a reserved category (wherever applicable) then the seat shall be allocated under the unreserved category and not the reserved category.
5. For Persons with Disability a 5% horizontal reservation shall be followed and seats shall be allocated on basis of merit
a. PWD (PWBD) candidates are eligible only for the category to which he/she belongs i.e. If a candidate belongs to a reserved category, she is eligible for a seat only under that category and not in the unreserved category (horizontal reservation)
i. Eligible PWBD candidate of UR category can avail a reserved seat only in the UR category
ii. Eligible PWBD candidate of EWS category can avail a reserved seat only in the EWS category
iii. Eligible PWBD candidate of OBC category can avail a reserved seat only in the OBC category
iv. Eligible PWBD candidate of SC category can avail a reserved seat only in the SC category
v. Eligible PWBD candidate of ST category can avail a reserved seat only in the ST category
6. Vacant seats in earlier rounds of counselling can be allotted in subsequent rounds by following the above rules.
7. All those candidates who filled choices in the Mock Round but did not edit (reorder/add/delete) their choices were considered for the 1st round of counselling.
