Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced the counselling schedule for the 1st Post Basic BSc Nursing Course under PPBNET-2022.

Detailed schedule –

1. All PPBNET qualified/appeared candidates can submit online preferences of colleges/categories through the University website www.bfuhs.ac.in – 10th August 2022 – 15th August 2022

2. Allotment of seats as per merit cum preferences given by candidates – 18th August 2022

3. Joining date of candidates allotted seat – up to 25th August 2022

The candidates who are allotted seats will have to report to the respective allotted college for joining, checking documents/eligibility, medical checkup and depositing the fee. The fee can be paid online gateway available on the University website.

The colleges will have to submit the list of candidates who will not report to the College/ineligible candidates/ candidates who will surrender seats after joining through email at nursingadmissionsbfuhs@gmail.com. The last date for mailing the list is 29th August 2022.

The schedule for 2nd online counselling will be declared later on through the university website.


Eligibility criteria –

The candidates must be 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admitting year. They should have passed the GNM Nursing examination and should be registered Nurse and Registered Mid Wife with any state nursing registration council. They must have cleared 10+2 in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English as a compulsory subject. The candidates must be medically fit.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
