BFUHS notifies on Round 6 BSc Nursing admissions, details

Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the schedule for the 6th round of online counselling for admission to the BSc Nursing course 2025.

According to the official notice issued that the tentative vacancy position of seats would be displayed on November 06, followed by the submission of online preferences from November 07 to 10, 2025. The process of seat allotment will be carried out on November 11 to 12, 2025, with the provisional result scheduled to be released on November 13, 2025.

7Candidates, to whom seats will be allocated, will report to the respective allotted college for joining, checking of documents/ eligibility, Medical Checkup and will deposit fee through online payment gateway available at University website.15.11.2025 to 18.11.2025
Note:1The joined Candidates of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Round of counselling who do not want to continue B.Sc. Nursing Course and wants to surrender the seat, can surrender the seat in respective college upto 06.11.2025 (02.:00 PM) and the respective colleges will update the vacancy position through online portal in college Login. Requestfor surrender of seat received in University thorugh email /any mode will not be entertained.
Note:2Shifting from one college to another in this round (6th round) of online counselling is allowed.
Note:3After this round, the shifting may not be allowed in subsequent round of counseling.
Note:4It is pertinent to mention here that the candidates can fill the choices of college/category/qu ota which are not reflecting in the vacancy position of seats as few seats may arise due to shifting from one college to another and also some seats of reserved cateogory/NRI Quota seats may remain vacant after exhausting all candidates of respective category/quota. Therefore, any seat may become vacant in 6th round due to shifting/conversion of seats, heance it is not mandatory to fill only those choices/preference which are reflected in the vacancy position of seats. So candidates are advised to fill the preference/choices of colleges/category/quota as per their choice. The seats in 6th round will be allocated as per availability of seats as per merit choice/ preference submitted by the candidates.
Note:5As per the Indian Nursing Council vide Notification 13 of 2025 issued vide no. F.no.1-6/LT/2025-INC dated 22.10.2025 extended the last date for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Program for academic year 2025-26 till 30th November 2025 with directions as under:-a) For B.Sc. (N) The Universities/colleges of Nursing shall implement of B.Sc. (N) program semester wise. In the context, it is clarified that the students who are admitted upto 31th oct 2025 shall be considered as REGULAR BATCH. The students admitted from 1st Nov 2025 onwards will be considered as IRREGULAR BATCH. Examination shall be conducted separately for the above batches. Universities shall ensure that institution shall comply with semester requirements as prescribed in the syllabi before the conduct of examination.
