BSc Nursing 1st Semester Exam To Commence From Last Week Of July: BFUHS
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has issued a notification related to the BSc Nursing 1st-semester exam.
As per the notice, the exam will commence from the last week of July 2022. All the principals of nursing colleges must complete the teaching hours of all the aspirants before the examinations.
For admission to BSc Nursing courses, the candidates have to pass in -
1. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC) and English as a compulsory subject or an equivalent qualification.
2. 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under PSEB/CBSE/ICSE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
3. The candidate must also qualify in PPMET and physical counseling for selection.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July 1998. The main purpose is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various university faculties and between this university and other universities of health sciences in the country and abroad.

2. Dental
3. AYUSH
4. Nursing
5. Physiotherapy
6. Sports Medicine
7. Med. Lab. Technology
8. B.Sc. Medical
Admission to these programs is done based on the entrance examination conducted by the university or through national-level medical entrance examinations.
