Telangana: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has invited Application forms from eligible candidates for admission into the BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing courses for the academic year 2021-2022 under Competent Authority Quota into all Government and Private colleges affiliated to the varsity.

The application window is open till 15-12-2021 up to 6.00P.M. All the concerned candidates who intend to pursue BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing courses from the KNRUHS are hereby advised to check out the eligibility criteria, application process, selection process and other admission details mentioned below to avoid any confusion while applying for the courses.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer/mobile with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.

The duration for BSc Nursing is 4 years and for Post Basic BSc Nursing, it's 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

CATEGORIZATION OF SEATS:

1. As per G.O.Ms.NO.330, HM&FW (K1) Department, dt.11-11-2011, in Private institutions Sixty percent (60%) of the total number of seats shall be filled as competent authority seats by university.

2. Forty percent (40%) seats shall be filled as management seats by the Managements of Private Colleges.

3. In respect of the Government colleges 100% Nursing seats shall be Competent authority, will be filled by the University.

RESERVATION OF SEATS FOR SCHEDULED CASTES & SCHEDULED TRIBES.

a. Out of the total seats under Competent Authority Quota 15% are reserved for SC category candidates and 6% are reserved for ST category candidates. If any seat reserved for the Scheduled Tribes is not filled up they will be open to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Vice-Versa.

b. If the candidates from Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes are not available these reserved seats shall be converted to open category seats and allotted on the basis of merit.

c. Candidates from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes belonging to Telangana State for castes which are notified in the list as per the Telangana Government orders will be considered against the reserved seats.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APLICATION FOR DETERMINATION OF MERITPOSITION FOR COMPETENT QUOTA SEATS

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED BEFORE FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM ON-LINE

In view of COVID-19, the process of application and certificate verification has been changed. The following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates marked as mandatory shall be uploaded by every candidate. Other certificates are to be uploaded as per the candidate requirement category. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

1. Click on the Mobile and Email Registration. The candidate should have a valid /working Mobile and Email Id. OTP will be sent to registered Mobile and Email ID at different stages. The candidate should keep the Mobile and Email ID active till completions of the counseling process. The candidate has to enter OTP's received to mobile and Email Id for registration and Verification of Mobile and Email Id.

2. After entering the details click on validate button.

3. If all the details entered are correct and verified with OTP's your system will display a successful message and proceed to registration form.

4. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details.

5. After entering the details click on validate button it will take you to the Payment Gateway for payment fee.

6. If all the details entered are correct your system will display payment reference number Button to proceed for payment. Depending on your caste category the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are requested to double check the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Prospectus yourself and pay the fee.

7. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway, Click OK

9. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message on the screen and you will receive the Registration number to your mobile. Please note down the registration number for further correspondence

10. For updating the details of the candidate enter Roll Number and the Registration number sent to your mobile and click on Validate button to enter into the Application form.

11. The application form will be displayed as shown below. You have to fill the details and upload Passport Size Photo and Signature (Note: Scanned photo and Signature should be less than100KB and in JPEG or JPG format)

12. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data you entered are correct using Data Updation link on the Home page. Then click on Upload Certificates Button to proceed for document attachments.

13. After uploading all the required certificates, Click on Save and Print, You will get your filled in application form, take printout of this form for further assistance. If you click on Print Application button you will get earlier saved data.

Do's and Don'ts

• Do not use mobiles, tabs & Ipads. Use Desktops Computers or Laptops with Internet Explorer.
• Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for
• Criminal Action. Avoid using low internet facility.
• Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

COUNSELING

i. Provisional Final merit list will be displayed on KNRUHS website after scrutiny of uploaded certificates and application. Verification of uploaded certificates will be done only once for web based counseling irrespective of number of phases of exercising web based options and counselings. Hence, candidates who have applied on-line are advised to upload all original certificates at the time of online registrations without fail for scrutiny by concerned Departmental officials. No individual communications will be sent. The notification for schedule for exercising web options will be issued separately on KNRUHS website. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly for notifications.

ii. On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position.

iii. The Admission Committee shall have power to review the selection in case of any errors, misrepresentation or glaring injustice and cancel the selection/admission. In all matters relating to selection and admissions, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding on the candidates and selections cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

i. Selection will be made by the Admission Committee appointed by the Vice Chancellor, KNR University of Health Sciences based on the web-options given by the candidates and their merit.

ii. Selections shall be made local area wise as per the procedure prescribed in Annexure-III of G.O.P.No.646,Education (W) Dept. dated 10-7-1979, as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated18-05-2009.

iii. The Admission Committee will allot a candidate seats to the Nursing College based on their web-options and merit.

iv. Selected candidates will receive the allotment message on the registered mobile number after allotment of seat.

v. Selected candidates have to download the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) besides payment gateway charges through payment gateway and report to the Principal of concerned college along with all Original Certificates and pay the tuition fee as fixed by Government at the college to complete the admission process or fee notified by the Government of Telangana from time to time.

COMMENCEMENT OF THE COURSE: The course shall commence as per the schedule notified by Indian Nursing Council. The duration of the course shall be calculated from the date of commencement of the course and shall be uniform for all the candidates irrespective of individual dates of admission. 

CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS :

The admissions shall be closed as per the schedule notified by the University as per INC Regulations.

Any vacancy after the date of closure of admissions shall not be filled. They will not be carried forward to the next year as per the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

ALL ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES ALONG WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF FINAL VERIFICATION AT ALLOTTED COLLEGE .

1. Print out of on-line application Form and allotment letter.

2. SSC or any equivalent examination showing date of birth.

3. Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination for admission i.e. Intermediate or Equivalent Examination

4. GNM Marks memo and pass certificate.

5. Nursing council registration certificate.

6. Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which the candidate last studied.

7. Candidates who have studied in the state of Telangana /A.P.

a) If the candidate has studied in any educational institution, study/bona fide certificate from VI to Intermediate shall be uploaded.

b) A candidate who has studied in 2 or more institutions in Telangana / A.P., study / bona fide certificate from VI to Intermediate in those places shall be submitted.

c) A candidate who has not studied in any school /institution, a residence certificate for that period only shall be uploaded.

d) Candidates who have not studied in any school/college in the state of Telangana but resided in Telangana with private study in Telangana & seven years' residence certificate mentioning the period of residence preceding the qualifying examination (6th to Inter)by the candidate claiming eligibility as a local by virtue of residence shall be uploaded.

8. Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside the state of Telangana have to submit10 years' residence certificate of the either of the parents issued by MRO to claim seats under unreserved category.

9. Latest Permanent Caste Certificate in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/ Backward Class Candidates issued by competent authority of state of Telangana.

GOVERNMENT SERVICE CANDIDATES: For admission into P.B.B.Sc.(N) 2YDC Candidates Should have completed 2 years of service as a staff nurse in Medical and Health Department and Vaidya Vidhana Parishad in the State of Telangana as on 30.11.2021. Service certificate as a staff nurse should be enclosed issued by the respective employer and she must be a regular employee. Service certificate, regularization orders as staff nurse should be enclosed. Only Female candidates only are eligible as service candidates in Government Nursing colleges.

AGE:

1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December 2021 for BPT, BSC Nursing 4YDC & B.Sc MLT.

2. Candidate born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for admission into any of the above courses.

3. Minimum age for P.B B.Sc Nursing 2 YDC is 21 years and maximum age limit is 45 years (for SC, ST candidates maximum age is relaxable by 3 years)

Candidates are advised to download and read the prospectus/Regulations of each of the courses available in the website www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in before filling the on-line application form and payment of application fee for admission into BPT, B.Sc NURSING 4YDC, B.Sc (MLT) & P.B.B.Sc (N) 2YDC courses for the academic year 2021-22.

The eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who desire to take admission for above courses in affiliated colleges shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the merit position for Telangana State Competent Authority Quota seats in the  from 11.00 A.M. on 06-12-2021 to 15-12-2021 upto 06.00 P.M. only. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection.

REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION FEE: The registration and verification fee Rs.2,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC and BC candidates and Rs.1,600/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST Candidates for each course. Fee shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

** Registration and Verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
