BSc Nursing admissions: KNRUHS invites applications from Competent Authority Quota candidates, details
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the application process for competent authority quota BSc Nursing admissions 2024.
All the eligible candidates canregister for admission into B.Sc (N) courses in colleges affiliated to KNRUHS till 6.00 P.M. on 14-10-2024 through website.
Eligibility as Local Candidate
Nationality & Domicile: A candidate for admission into B.Sc. (Nursing) course under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be Indian National/Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder and shall fulfill the following conditions
i) The candidate should have studied in the Educational Institutions in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination. or
ii) Where during; the whole or any part of the four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, he should have resided in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared.
iii) Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the state of Telangana as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into B.Sc. (Nursing) course under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.
NOTE : Domiciles of other states are not eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in the state of Telangana.
B. Candidates shall secure the following of cutoff scores or above in TG- EAPCET – 2024 to be eligible for admissions in accordance with regulations of Indian Nursing Council.

i. Eligible TG - EAPCET- 2024 qualified Candidates have to apply online and upload the original certificates in response to notification to be issued by KNRUHS. The merit rank notified after verification of certificates by KNR University of Health Sciences, shall be the basis for selection into B.Sc.,(N) 4Ydc course into Competent Authority Quota seats.
ii. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
a. Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc.,(Nursing) 4 YDC Course should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with 45% aggregate of marks in Science (Biology, Physics ,Chemistry) and English is compulsory subject in 10+2.
Or
b. Any other examination of (10 + 2 pattern) from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE/ ICSE / SSCE / HSCE / NIOS / TOSS of other equivalent Board with Biology, Physics and Chemistry recognized as equivalent by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state.
Or
Intermediate (10+2) Vocational with Bridge course with Biology and Physical Sciences.
c. Those who belong to SC/ST and BC categories are eligible with 40% aggregate marks in the science group subjects (Biology and Physical Sciences). English is compulsory subject as per the norms of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.1-2/2014-INC and vide circular No.F.No.1-6/2016 –INC Dated: 21-09-2016.
Note: The Intermediate (TOSS) Candidates who have qualified in the year 2021 shall be treated as having minimum required percentage of marks at Intermediate level as prescribed by concerned authorities/Deemed to be Universities/other Private Universities recognized by UGC. vide reference: G.O.Ms.No.17 Dated:29.10.2020 and G.O.Ms.No.19 Dated:29.06.2021.
AGE: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2024.
Note:
i. Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.
ii. No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be permitted.
iii. Candidates born on or after 02-01-2008 arenot eligible
iv. Student shall be medically fit.
ONLINE APPLICATIONS:-
The on-line application form for determining merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats will be available on the website https://tsparamed.tsche.in from 9 .00 AM on 06-10-2024 upto 06 .00 PM. On 14-10-2024.
Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application form from the website before proceeding to fill the application form.
The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer or Laptop with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or Laptop. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.
Registration and Processing Fee:
The Registration and Processing fee Rs.2500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**
**Registration and Processing fee once paid will not be refunded oradjusted to a further date.
The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course toverify for eligibility under local/non local category.
CATEGORIZATION OF SEATS:
i. Sixty percent (60%) of the total number of seats in Private institutions shall be filled as Competent Authority Quota seats by University.
ii. Forty percent (40%) seats shall be filled as Management Quota seats by the Managements of Private Colleges.
iii. In respect of the Government colleges 100% seats shall be Competent Authority Quota, will be filled by the University.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION FOR COMPETENT QUOTA SEATS
1.Click on the Mobile and Email Registration. The candidate should have a valid /working Mobile and Email Id. OTP will be sent to registered Mobile and Email Id at different stages. The candidate should keep the Mobile and Email Id active till completions of the counselling process. The candidate has to enter OTP’s received to mobile and Email Id for registration and Verification of Mobile and Email Id.
2.After entering the details click on validate button
3. If all the details entered are correct and verified with OTP’s your system will display a successful message and proceed to registration form
4. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details.
5.After entering the details click on validate button it will take you to the Payment Gate way for payment fee.
6. If all the details entered are correct your system will display payment reference number Button to proceed for payment. Depending on your caste category the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are requested to double check the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Prospectus yourself and pay the fee.
7. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway, Click OK
8. Select mode of payment
9. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message on the screen and you will receive the Registration number to your mobile. Please note down the registration number for further correspondence
Do not refresh or close the page until you will receive a Successful Payment message It may take few seconds to processes the payment and verify the details wait patiently
10. The application form will be displayed as shown below. You have to fill the details and upload Passport Size Photo and Signature(Note: Scanned photo and Signature should be less than 100 KB and in JPEG or JPG format)
11. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data you entere dare correct using Data Updation link on the Home page. Then click on Upload Certificates Button to proceed for document attachments.
12. After uploading all the required certificates, Click on Save and Print, You will get your filled in application form, take printout of this form for further assistance. If you click on Print Application button you will get earlier saved data.
Do's and Don'ts
Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action.
Avoid using slow internet facility.
Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

MERIT LIST:
The provisional final merit position of applied candidates for competent authority quota seats shall be notified after verification of uploaded certificates.
The provisional Final merit list shall be prepared by the Admission Committee appointed by University subject to these regulations.
The criteria for preparation of merit list (B.Sc. NURSING COURSE) The Merit list will be prepared in accordance with the TG – EAPCET – 2024 Rank
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
Selection will be made by the Admission Committee appointed by ViceChancellor, KNR University of Health Sciences based on the web-options given by the candidates and their merit. Selections shall be made local area wise as per the Rules of Admission as notified in G.O.MS.No. 39, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated: 18.04.2022 G.O.MS.No.
HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated: 02.02.2023 and G.O.MS.No. 95, HM & FW (C1) Department, Dated:14.07.2023 and subsequent amendments.
a. The Selection Committee will allot a candidate seat to the Nursing College based on their web-options and merit.
b. Selected candidates will receive the allotment message on the registered mobile number after allotment of seat. Candidates are also directed to check the website for allotment list after exercising web-options.
c. Selected candidates have to download the allotment order on payment of University fee of Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) besides payment gateway charges through payment gateway and report to the Principal of concerned college along with all Original Certificates and pay the tuition fee as notified by Government at the college to complete the admission process.
ADMISSION RULES
a. The letter of allotment for admission of selected candidate will have to be downloaded from website after payment of University fee by payment gateway.
b. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form, allotment order and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the Admission Committee constituted at each college. The Admission Committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.
Selected candidates have to join the college within the specified date by submitting all Original Certificates, and pay the tuition fee as notified by the Government to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not report within the specified time and complete the process as described before the admission will be automatically cancelled.
COMMENCEMENT OF THE COURSE: The course shall commence as per the schedule notified by Indian Nursing Council. The duration of the course shall be calculated from the date of commencement of the course and shall be uniform for all the candidates irrespective of individual dates of admission.
College Regulations: Candidates are required to follow the rules and regulations of the college and should also abide by the regulations of the University. Candidates are informed that their correspondence with the University shall be forwarded by the Principal of college with his remarks (through proper channel) for consideration. Under no circumstances they should have any correspondence with higher authorities directly without prior permission of the Principal
CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS:
The admissions shall be closed as per the schedule notified by the University as per INC Regulations.
Any vacancy after the date of closure of admissions shall not be filled. They shall not be carried forward to the next year.
