DME Andhra Pradesh Extends deadline for Admissions into General Nursing Midwifery Training Course Courses 2021

Andhra Pradesh: At the request of the nursing institutions, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME Andhra Pradesh) has extended the time for admission into General Nursing and Midwifery Training Course for the Academic year 2021-2022. 

As per the notice, earlier the last date for payment of the registration fee was 12.10.2021 which has been extended till 15.11.2021. with the extension of payment of fees, the commencement of classes has also been further extended. 

The office has issued admission notification for the General Nursing and Midwifery Course (3 years) for the Academic year 2021-2022 batch which is being imparted in Government and Private Schools of Nursing in the state.

The General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Nursing Institutions Management Association has represented the DME for extension of dates. Keeping in view of the request made by the Nursing Association, the admission schedule is revised.

The  General Secretary has given another representation to the DME requesting to extend the admission dates once again. In the representation, he has mentioned that DME previously has considered their representation and extended the dates for GNM Admissions and submitted that since the admissions are not completed in many schools due to nonreceipt of original intermediate marks list and also waiting for BSc (N) counseling by some candidates and requested to extend the admission dates once again consider their representation.

Keeping in view of the request made by the General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Nursing Institutions Management, the admission schedule is revised as follows:

1. The Last date for payment of the registration fee is 15.11 .2021.

2. Online submission of applications is up to 20.11.2021 for Govt. Schools and Private Schools.

3. The Last date for submission of Downloaded applications is 20.11.2021 up to 5.00 P.M. for Govt. Schools of Nursing.

4. The Last date for submission of Downloaded applications is 20.11.2021 up to 5.00 P.M. for Convener Quota seats and Management Quota seats it will be 20.11.2021 up to 5 P.M

5. Selection process should be completed by 24.11.2021 for Govt. Schools and Private Schools by DM&HO.

6. Commencement of classes will be from 30.11 .2021.

For further details, contact concerned Superintendents Government General Hospital, attached with Government School of Nursing, in respect of Government Schools of Nursing, and contact concerned District Medical and Health Officer, in respect of Private Schools of Nursing.

Detailed Notification & online application is available on the Director of Medical Education official website i.e., http://dme.ap.nic.in.

Further, all the DM&HO's are requested to upload the selection list of GNM students on the DME website i.e within one week as per the instructions of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

Hence the Chief Information Office, O/o Director of Medical Education, A.P, Vijayawada is requested to place the said dates on the official website of the Director of Medical Education, A.P, Vijayawada, and also requested to take steps for online admission applications immediately.
