Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) announces the schedule for fourth-round choice feeling, fee payment and reporting for BSC Nursing seats.

The candidates fill the fourth choice round until 5.2.2023, up to 11:55 pm. The seat allotment results will be announced on 7.2.2023 (4:00 pm). Once the seat is allotted, candidates must pay the fee at designated Axis Bank branches or online. The fee can be paid from 8.2.2023 from 10:00 am till 10.2.2023 up to 3:30 pm. Reporting and depositing original certificates and confirmation of admission at the authorized help centre (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) can be done from 8.2.2023 from 10:00 am to 10.2.2023 up to 4:00 pm. A detailed list of help centres is available on the official website of DME.

Candidates who have taken admission to courses other than BSc Nursing, i.e. Physiotherapy, GNM, ANM, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Occupational Therapy, B.Optometry and Audiology in any Government or Independent Institutions have given consent will not be able to participate. It is mandatory to give consent to participate in the fourth round. Otherwise, there will be no change in admission in the previous round.


BSc Nursing is a 4 years professional undergraduate course. Those who have passed class 12 from Gujarat Board or its equivalent in science stream with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English with minimum eligible marks are eligible for BSc Nursing admission. The candidates must be of 17 years of age by 31st December 2022.

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME had started the refund process for round 4 for the postgraduate admission process for the academic year – 2022-23. The refund process started on 31.1.2023 and continues till 6.2.2023 up to noon. The candidates who have either been admitted/not been admitted in postgraduate medical (MD/MS/Diploma/MDS) are eligible for a refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPPGMEC.
