Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME MP) has released the schedule for BSc Nursing counselling for admission to government nursing colleges. The allotment of the first round will take place on 19/01/2023

Detailed schedule is as follows  –

First round (Online Counselling) –

Publication of vacancies and eligible candidates list

30-12-2022

Registration Cum Choice filling & Choice Locking (B.Sc Course)

03-01-2023 to 14-01-2023 midnight (11:59 PM)

Choice filling & locking Edit Option at the portal

05-01-2023 to 15-01-2023 midnight (11:59 PM)

The merit of Registered cum choice-filled candidates

16-01-2023

Allotment Result First Round

19-01-2023

Reporting by the allotted candidate (In Person at the allotted Nursing college for Scrutiny and Admission Process)

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. The candidates will have to be residents of the state.

3. The candidates must be between 17 to 30 years of age.

4. The candidate must have studied science in 12th grade from a recognized board.

5. The candidates must have passed the higher secondary exam with 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for SC/ST/PwD with Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Math.

Instructions –

1. Aaadhar registration is a must.

2. The candidates must bring photo id proof (aadhar card/pan card/voter id/driving licence/passport) at the time of counselling.

3. Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's rank in the entrance exam and the preferences provided.

4. On the day of counselling, the candidates will have all the original documents and certificates for verification before admission.

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals. Research is another area of activity for the medical education department. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME announced the schedule for college-level (CLC) admission against stray vacancies in MBBS & BDS courses. The counselling schedule got over on 21.12.2022. The registered candidates who were not allotted any seats in round 1, round 2, and the mop-up round were eligible to participate in this round.
