DME Tamil Begins Counseling For Diploma in Nursing, 20 Seats Available

Tamil Nadu: The counseling for Diploma in Nursing has begun. The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) has announced the counseling schedule and seat matrix.

Detailed schedule –

1. Registration - 04-11-2022 from 10.00 am - 07-11-2022 up to 05.00 pm

2. Final result of Allotment - 08-11-2022

3. Download of Provisional Allotment Order - 08-11-2022

4. Reporting Date & Time - On or before 11-11-2022 up to 05.00 pm

Per the notice, candidates participating in the online counseling for Diploma in Nursing must remit a non-refundable amount of Rs.250/- online as a processing fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Candidates should be careful during choice filling. A candidate who has not registered and has not locked the choice for the 1st round of online counseling will not be permitted to the subsequent rounds of online counseling. Admission to Diploma in Nursing courses shall be made by online counseling based on rank by applying the rule of reservation.

Candidates absent at the scheduled time and date of online counseling will not be considered for admission. However, the Selection Committee reserves the right to permit the candidate to attend the online counseling if a valid reason for absence is communicated to the Selection Committee. The candidates, so permitted, can only claim college available at the time of online counseling when they attend.

Once the candidate locks her choice during the online counseling, it cannot be changed later. Request for a college change from one to another is not permitted after an option has been exercised. Candidates who have taken a seat and not joined the course are not eligible for the subsequent rounds of online counseling.

The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned college that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time. The candidates should produce their original certificates in person when joining their selected Colleges, along with a photocopy of the original certificates to the concerned Colleges.

If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will be canceled without further notice.
